Who has taken down their christmas decorations?

We normally take ours on the closest weekend to the 6th. I'm surprised how many of you have them down already, it always looks depressingly bare afterwards.

We always take ours down on the 6th - rarely before, and never after! My mum and grandma were always very superstitious about making sure they were down before the end of January 6th, so I've taken that superstition on as well.

I agree it looks bare, but it also looks so wonderfully unclutted and as I'm a minimalistist sort of person, I hate clutter.

I have a bunch of tall twigs, draped with clear fairy lights, on a table in a corner at all times anyway, so that gives a slight Christmas look all year round.

We took ours down on the Fri before New year. I love having Christmas decorations up, but because I have lots of decorations up, I like to have everything back in it's proper place for New year!!
