who has stayed at the dolphin??

hey guys! i was wondering who has stayed at the dolphin and what you could tell me about it. i would like to know opinions etc. we are staying there for spring break and i can't wait!!!! thanks for any infor you can give!!

we have stayed last year......we absolutely loved it!!! we have 3 children under the age of 4 and they loved the pool area and playgrounds. The lobby is gorgeous and the hotel itself is amazing in person to see. Even before i went we saw pics and was still amazed in person. The location, next to the staff is the biggest plus. You are right in the middle of everything. Make sure to walk around the resort at night, we saw a lot of rabbits that would almost eat out of your hands. Tubbi's beffeteria is a great place to get some cheap eats and is open 24hrs. and more??'s

sounds awesome!! i am sooo excited! we have 39 days left to go i can't wait! i haven't been to disney for 5 years and i have never stayed on the property before. this is an extra special trip for me that i am very ready to get under way! thanks for the great infomation. it made me three times more excited after i read it!!

I have stayed, too. The best thing about the the Dolphin is location, location, location! ...........> and Tubbi's Buffeteria, Dolphin Fountain, Grotto pool, excellent restaurants, great CMs, super transportation and best of all the teacher rate!

I have stayed at the Swan, too. We are returning to the Dolphin this July.

We stayed there in December and really enjoyed it. There were five of us so we had a roll a way brought in, even with that in the room we had plenty of space. We had reserved a standard room but ended up with a balcony and a view of the boardwalk and had a nice view of the fireworks. We will be there again in June/July and maybe for our stay in August if we can get the gov.t rate. It was great to be able to walk to Epcot and MGM and also to walk around the boardwalk. We love being close to the marketplace also, just a short drive away.

We have stayed at the Dolphin many times and love it. In fact we will be there for about 3 nights during our spring break trip - before and after our Eastern Caribbean Cruise on the Magic

Whoa! Are you in for A REAL TREAT!
The S/D are awesome resorts in the middles of the magic of WDW!

First class restaurants, gorgeous pools, the heavenly beds, the best room service, great 24-hour convenient store...could go on and on!

Be sure to try the ice cream at the Dolphin fountain-its delicious! Plan to spend at least one afternoon at the Grotto pool-its beautiful. You can buy a refillable mug at Tubbi's, but depending on your room location, it can be quite a hike to Tubbi's. The location is fabulous-you will love it!

man everything you guys have told me sounds awesome!! i went to the website and looked at pictures of the resort and it makes me so escited. i will definetly have to go to tubbi's and i know for sure we are going to walk around the boardwalk. thanks for all the info! i can't wait to get out of the cold illinois weather and into the nice florida weather thanks again!

Location is the best. Ask nicely for a room with a good view of Illuminations, newly renovated and a balcony (it doesn't hurt to ask!). A take out pizza from Tubbi's tastes great and is a good deal. We put the Dolphin up there with the other "true" Disney resorts.

I stayed there for the first time in December and loved it! Be sure to ask for a renovated room so you get a heavenly bed. You'll get the best sleep of your life.

You're going to love being so close to both Epcot and MGM. Be sure to stroll over to the Boardwalk and enjoy the shops, activity, and restaurants there too. Have a wonderful time!
