We went today it was a really good movie loads of action but sorry to say I had to go wait outside for family, just can not take the ending....I know it is a movie and it is not real but it still is so sad :(

Great movie though...just wish they would change the end!

I just saw it and I agree about the end. The relationship between Kong and Ann was presented so well I thought in this version. I liked that Jack did not "come between them". This was by far the best movie I've seen this year. I really did want "certain" people to be stepped on though ;) .

Didn't you love Central Park?

- hoping this doesn't spoil anything for those who have not seen it. I tried to be vague -

I loved Central Park! that was the best and at the clifts!

If only they would change the end.....

I could do without the man-eating leeches and super-sized cockroaches.
Ewww ewww ewww ewwww!!

Things bugged me other than that. (Pun intended.)

1. Precision shooting with an automatic weapon. (Puhleez!)
2. It's winter, and she walks out in a diaphanous gown without
looking like she's freezing her butt off.

Sure, it's a movie, but I have issues with stuff that I can't wrap my
mind around in relative logic. (Sci fi is great, because jargon sounds
convincing enough. Independence Day drove me crazy because Jeff
Goldblum was able to upload a computer virus to advanced alien
technology!!)

Ok, I'm nuts. :)

I haven't seen King Kong, and I don't plan to really. It doesn't look good in my opinion.

My two brothers and my dad have seen it, don't really know what they thought of it though.

I quess Kong was putting out enough heat to keep her warm ;) :rotfl:

LOL! Ok, he probably did. But that doesn't explain the other times she's
walking around like it's a summer day. ;)

I did enjoy the "butt skating" in Central Park, too, btw. :)

Yeah King Kong was a great movie. I watched it with my family and my two sisters cried at the end and wouldn't get over it for 2 days. It was a lot longer than the old version. :earseek:

Wll obviously Kong has to die in the end per the original movie....yet maybe VMK can come out with a special Kong Rug so we can all debate that as well.

Ok a little cruel, but I couldn't resist.

It was ok I guess, but some of the jungle scenes needed editing. There was just way too much running, jumping, falling. That girl would have been dead in 5 minutes, and then again in just about every scene after that. Especially the one where Kong was trying to strike her like a match.

In my opinion please don't get mad, please no flaming on what I say. I thought this movie was terrible. The first and last hour put me to sleep. The only good parts were the jungle and when kong was messing with the girl. I thought this movie was way too long and dragged out. But this is just my opinion don't get upset.

not a problem that is your opinion and you are entitled to like or not like it....

I thought it was excellant except the ending and I really do think they need to rewrite that...but that is just my opinion.

I know :sad1: ! But I did stay for the end... The 1 i saw started @ 5:30 and while watching the movie at the end i looked at my cell and it was 7:35 !!! :earseek: ! I did not know the movie was sooooooooooooooooooo LONG lol .

I do agree with you . You would think her neck would snap with all the throwing around ! But it was very funny when they were running for their lives yet the man was still smoking his cigar lol ! Btw how many time did the guy that liked her get knocked out ?!?! :scratchin

We just saw it today. We each gave it 2 thumbs down. I was surprised that it got 7.9 on the IMDB. I based going to see it by the rating it got there. Live and learn......

I just got around to seeing the movie. That movie is really deep, and at the start of the movie I was on the human's side, but then at the end I was on King Kong's side. It's just sad, all those lives ended for the sake of money.
