How are these resteraunts? Never been to either of them, and thinking of trying them out in May! Do I need ADR's? :confused3 Thanks!

We went to LTT this past trip and I would strongly recommend ADRs for this restaurant, it's a popular character meal. The food was very good as was the service. I don't know about the other restaurant, we've never been there.

Good Luck

We'd been meaning to try LTT for a few trips now as it's the only MK restaurant we hadn't done. We didn't fancy the family style dinner, so tried for lunch last May, but it was Mother's Day and, guess what? They were serving family style! Anyway, we did eventually get there for lunch in January and I was pleasantly surprised. Dh had the Clam Chowder to start, which was OK, but just seemed the same as they serve in Columbia Harbour House to me. I had the Maryland Crab Cakes appetiser and I thought it was exceptional for theme park food (not that I'm an expert on Maryland crab cakes!). It was huge, too - easily enough for two to share. I also enjoyed my pot roast.

I haven't been to Coral Reef for a few years.

I am trying to decide on these two restaurants also. Anyone else out there that can help us out?

we were in LTT for the first time a few weeks ago. the food was very good, the service was good, but we had problems with being a large party (10 people) that we had to be at separate tables and instead of being next to each other we were across the room from each other.. we had specifically made an early ADR (4:20 pm) so we could be together.. also the room was FREEZING cold, so the food got cold quickly.
all in all a good restaurant, good character interaction, somewhat pricey, comfort food.

Depends on the definition of "recently". :)

We were at both in Oct.

We had 13 nights on the dining plan, and it was our first time trying the TS restaurants. We didn't have any "bad" meals, but some were better than others.

LTT & CR are both in our top 3 favorites.

We are taking another trip in Dec., and we're planning to return to both.

CR was one of our most expensive meals.

If you like chocolate - be sure to try CR's Chocolate Wave, our absolute favorite dessert. :)

I would recommend ADR's.

We love LTT for lunch or dinner. CR is ok. The tank is neat, and the food was alright. IMHO, for the price I would consider some other restaurants. We loooove seafood, and this just didn't cut it for us. However, the food wasn't bad, just not what we wanted.

I know that the food is way overpriced, and probably not that good, but I wanted to say I "had been there." ;)

We had the character dinner a LTT last September and I thought that it was the worst food that we had while at Disney. I even liked the buffets at Hollywood and Vine and Crystal Palace better and I don't really like buffets. We are debating whether to try Coral Reef when we go back again this year.
