Who Has Mailed There On Pkg To There Resort

Just wondering what you sent, food water etc, and how much it weighed and cost of pkg.

I am thinking of sending a pkg ahead of time and wondering what everybody did.

I mailed a package to SSR for our stay a couple of weeks ago. I sent down all of our liquids, such as shampoo/conditioner, suntan lotion, shaving cream, deodorant, toothpaste etc. I also sent down some extra laundry detergent, dryer sheets and coffee filters.

By sending this package ahead of time, we were able to pack up for our stay on just carry-on bags and that made traveling much easier for our family.

I'm not sure of the exact weight of the package, but it cost approximately $12 to send.

I will do it again on our next stay.

I will tell you that freight for water and drinks will be crazy. Becuase of their weight it could run over $30 and up just for freight. We just got back. We were going to use Garden Grocer since we had ME booked. They seemed more reasonable. BUT DH wanted beer for the evenings and we would have had to be there when the groceries were delivered. We decided to get a driver to pick us up and have a grocery stop. We got our luggage, stopped at the store and still beat ME. Our room was ready at 12:00 on a Saturday so we were able to get our luggage and groceries stowed away before we hit the parks.

I just sent myself a package out today, it cost $12 not sure the weight of it. I sent plasticware,paper plates,oatmeal,snackbars,microwave popcorn etc... We are getting a towncar with a 30 minute grocery stop so I will get the water,milk and heavy stuff there.
