Who has had luck booking ADRs less than 3 months out?

I am HOPING to take our first WDW trip in 8 years for this coming September.
I will not know if I can do it for another couple of weeks.
Who has booked ADRs with only a few months to go and actually got reservations?
My hope is to get ressies for Morocco, Tokyo Dining, 50s Diner, Sci-Fi Diner, Tusker House, Garden Grill and then 2 more which are undetermined.
I'm pretty flexible about times.

You'll be fine. Lots of people switch/cancel at 60, 45 and 30 days.

You'll be ok! I was able to get an Ohana dinner ADR about 10 days out when we took a last minute Memorial weekend trip. We're a month away from our next trip and I'm still tweaking our ADRs.

Based on your list, none of those are really hard to get (that I know of - not sure about GG). I would book the character meals first.

You'll be fine! Just keep checking the site. I booked 4/6 and we arrive 6/6. I got 1900 PF, Akershus, SW dessert party, 'Ohana, GG, HDDR & B & C. The only thing I haven't snagged is CRT. I had TH & dropped it for Akershus.

I would start making reservations now... just cancel them if you end up not going.

I never book at 180, only maybe grab a special event thing at 90, most around 30 and often some week of, even day of. It doesn't look like you are going for any outrageous things and if you are flexible on time, I think you will be fine.

But note you might be there during Free Dining so some book fast - if you know what dates you might go - go ahead and book your meals. You don't need a reservation to do that. If you decide not to go, then cancel them.

You will be fine. You may not get everything you want at the ideal times but you should be able to get most of them.

We always are around 3 months out and I get everything, just takes work, check many times during the day and you will get it. You will not have any problem with 50's, Tusker, or Garden Grill.

I've been able to book everything I wanted, maybe not for the specific time, but I've gotten every restaurant - all scheduled under the 3 month mark probably depends on th time you're traveling and the restaurants you want.

Keep watching and trying though. Once people schedule fast passes, I'm guessing "some people" go in and cancel reservations they already had - not saying I'm "some people" or not. LOL

Don't give up if you don't get everything you want at first. I was able to snag a BOG dinner reservation yesterday for next Saturday. People cancel the closer you get to the trip. I'd also suggest the dining reservation finder on Touring Plans - it's free and helped me to get Beaches and Cream and a later time at Yak and Yeti.

There are often openings just a few days ahead of time. The restaurants located in a park tend to be the hardest to get.

I've been lucky booking ADRs less than 3 months out on a few occasions. The most difficult...early character breakfast ADRs in the parks. You should be ok with the ones you listed. If not keep checking.

If you don't want to be checking all the time, touring plans has a service that will email or text you if an ADR at your desired restaurant becomes available during the time you want. I was able to get 3 ADRs that way. It helps if you're a little flexible on times but definitely doable.

It depends but you will find something you will be happy with. Is that during free dinning? That can make a difference. We planned a trip about three weeks out once and did really good. Could not get Ohana and had to compromise on some character meals but we were happy. Check frequently and for sure about 10 days out for anything you can't get.

I just booked decent ADRs for next week and didn't have to chose random times either. There was a ton of availability and the only thing not open was princess dinning hall, Cinderella's Royal Table, and Be Our Guest.

BOG was the only thing on our last trip that I wasn't able to book at 180 days. I got that reservation about 2 weeks before our trip. If you go to make your ADRs and find something you want is booked, check out the cancellation thread on the restaurant board. It's full of nothing but people cancelling ADRs, and you can coordinate with someone to essentially take their cancelled reservation (no guarantees it will work though).

I had 57 days to plan And 3 weeks to replan lol! Because of jungle book And star wars fireworks

May 30 Tokyo dining (good but all were deep fried, i "undress" My scallops And substitute the dessert by A miso soup. Good view of illuminations.

May 31 Lunch at Be our Guest, dinner at Ohana (8:20pm, good view of Wishes)

June 1 brunch at Tusker House, loved It! It Was with the jungle book package.

June 2 dinner at Biergarten. We were So exhausted, We try to Go earlier And They take us. M good Food And good ambiance.

June 3 lunch at 50's prime Time Cafe. The blue Plate special Was osso bucco mmmmmm! Cousin Robert Was fun! The peanut butter milkshake is out of this world!

June 4 no plan day!

June 5 brunch at California grill. I plan to eat My Weight of Food (It Will Be a lot, lot, lot, lot, lot of food lol!)
