Who has gone the last week in March

Who has gone the last week in March (when Easter doesn't fall that week)? How were the crowds? We went Memorial Weekend into early June last year and it was very hot and very crowded. My husband is very reluctant to deal with that scenario again but I want to go back very badly. The UG seems to indicate crowds aren't that bad at the end of March until the week of Easter.

I would greatly appreciate any historical information from all you veterans out there.

If you are talking about 2005.........the end of March IS when Easter falls this year. Easter is 27 March.

Now, we have gone for the past couple of years during Mem. weekend and thought that the crowds were manageable. We KNOW and EXPECT the crowds to be much more during spring break and especially the week before/after Easter. This is peak season.

This is something id like to know also as I`ll be visiting between 21st and 31st March 2006...

We went the end of Mar in 2004 and it was great. Light crowds and pretty good weather. Rained the day we arrived and some the next day but it was very warm.Had a great time. Take a warm jacket for evenings because the temp. can drop.

As our school district always has Spring break during the last week of March, we had many trips during that time frame.

Other than the years when Easter falls at the beginning or end of the week, it is not bad at all.

Beautiful weather and most college spring breaks are over. Crowds won't be like January but aren't that bad.

Our youngest is a college freshman this year so we won't be going. It will be fun to see our town empty out...with many families off to see the Mouse!

The unofficial guide rates the last week of March 2005 as a 4 out of 10 (10 being the most busy and 1 being the least).

They rate the 2 middle weeks of March as being up in th 7/8 range, so that must be when most of the college springbreaks are. I was surprised, actually. I thought it would be the last week of March, first week of April that are the busiest, as that's when the schools in Indiana are out. I guess I was assuming all schools in the country were out then also, I guess not.

My friend went last year, the last week of March also. She said she didn't think it was that bad.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
