Who has done the Inspire mail-in PCR Test?

We are still on the fence about doing a local CVS/Walgreen test or just ordering the Inspire kit for my youngest who is not old enough for the vaccine yet.

For those that did the Inspire kit, can you share your experiences with it? How long did it take to get once ordered? One you mailed it back, how long did it take for results to appear on the website? Did you get any updates along the way (notification that the test was received, sample testing begun, etc?)

Of all the things to stress about, this is the one eating at me the most. Just dropping this thing in the mail and waiting. I think I am more afraid of the test getting lost, or an Inconclusive test result, than I am of a Positive test result.

I have not done it but if I were to do a test (to meet Disney requirements) I would buy it from Inspire (even if its a little more money). With Inspire if there is an issue its on Inspire/Disney. With CVS/Walgreen if there is an issue its on you.

Yeah, but it's the devil you know. We have done local tests before, and have gotten the results in 24 hours. I know there is no guarantee that would happen again, especially with Delta.

I asked Inspire what happens if the test gets lost, or inconclusive. They said as long as its before sailing date we can re-test, but it's the waiting that kills. me. If it takes 4 days for Inspire to get back to me and they say it was inconclusive, then I have to get a PCR done in one day. I'd feel better if someone had real world experience with Inspire's turnaround time.
