I know that DCL will not take women past 24 weeks pregnant - But how do they verify how pg you are? Do have have to bring a doctors note?

And; I was right at that 24 week mark.... There is a special paper your doctor has to fill out for your cruise... :) ( maybe it comes in with your docs, I can't remember that far back, lol, sorry)
Good Luck!

Yes, you'll need a note, and it you don't have one with you verifying that you're not past the 24th week, they can deny boarding regardless of how pregnant you are. If DCL even thinks you're past your 24th week, and you don't have proof, they will deny you boarding. If you plan on cruising pregnant, make sure you have the documentation with you.

I was 20 weeks and did'nt have to show proof. BUT, that was 6 years ago on another line. When it doubt, get the paperwork from your Doc. Have a happy pregnancy and happy cruise!

Oh! And it's great to book a foot massage for your feet.

We had to cancel my daughter's room because she is "too" pregnant. When I called in inquire, if any part of your trip is within your 24th week, they will deny you passage!

You must call Disney to have them send a doctor's form to be filled out. You have to present this information at embarkation.

There were many in our party that was disappointed that my daughter's family won't be making the trip with us but we don't hold it against Disney. Just another reason to go back again!

We went on an Alaskan cruise in July and I was 6 and 7 weeks pregnant at the time. The 'morning' sickness I had all day was only made worse by eating in the dining room with all those smells combining and the rocking of the ship. At the time, I never even thought about not sailing because I was pregnant so I don't know what Celebrity's rules were concerning pregnancy, but since I was so sick at that point, I was losing weight so you wouldn't have known I was pregnant then anyway. We went to WDW when I was 19-20 weeks and you couldn't tell then either, unless I wore something very fitted, so had we cruised then, the cruise staff wouldn't have known either.

We cruised September 2002 and I was 20 weeks pregnant at the time. Our travel agent contacted DCL to get the necessary form that my OB had to fill out & sign. I'm glad that I had the form because I tend to gain a lot of weight when I am pregnant & have BIG babies (the last was 10 lbs) and I looked like I was past 24 weeks!

Just a side note, our main server at dinner was great--I mentioned one night that there were certain fishes that women who are pregnant should avoid & he actually went & checked with the ship MD to be certain I could eat a particular fish one night! :D

I was 14 weeks pregnant. I called DCL before the cruise about it but they did not indicate there was a form (obviously I had a CM who didn't know.) I also listed it on the cruise docs, but they didn't ask when I boarded. Seems as if they are not consistent in following through on needing the form......
