and how was it? Did you have any problems or did every thing go fine? I have always booked with Disney, but Bonnet Creek looks amazing! I just don't want to have any trouble at all with anything.

I did, last Feb for 8 nights. Ken was wonderful to work with, and he was very good with everything and handled everything very professionally. I loved it, and wouldn't think twice of doing it again, and again. Alot of people on the dis have used Ken, and all have wonderful things to say about him!

We have booked with Ken. He's great. We have always stayed onsite, but fell in love with Bonnet Creek. Going again soon and renting through Vacation Upgrades.

That's good to hear. I just wanted to hear about it from other people. I think I will be booking soon. :)

Love booking with him. He's very professional and prompt. You will not be disappointed. :)

If you book with Ken do you have to go to a time share meeting? I have read elsewhere that you do not get the parking pass at that resort until you go to another desk and sign up for a time share meeting. Not sure how those people booked their trip.

Deb.

You'll be asked if you would like to attend the timeshare meeting. Just say no. You will definitely get a parking permit. Vacation Upgrades is a great resource.

After you check-in, they send you to the other desk to get your parking permit. They will at that time ask you multiple times to attend a meeting...using phrases like "complimentary breakfast", "discounted tickets", "it looks like we have a gift for you"...the lady next to me was being aggressively pursued by the guy getting her passes. I could tell she had a hard time saying no, so I politely declined the first time I was asked and then the second time, I said firmly that no one in our party would be attending any presentations on this trip. They acknowledged this and left it alone. We still got both of our parking passes with no problem. We also unplugged our phones, which caller ID showed rang at least 2-3 times per day. We only plugged them in when we had to get online.

When we got there to check in, it was after 8 pm, so they didn't send us to another desk to get our parking passes. They gave them to us at the check in desk. We were never hassled or asked once about any presentation. They called a few times, but not for timeshare, it was about different scheduled things around the resort and so on!

When I got to the "Parking Pass Desk", they wanted to know my income. I told them it was none of their business. The man at the counter explained to me that they have a "special presentation", but that they only invite people who make more than $35,000/yr. I repeated that it was none of their business and left it at that. They never called me, or approached me during my week there.

I guess if you don't want to be as abrasive as I was, you can just tell them that you make peanuts. Apparently that's a deterrent to them.

DH asked me if we had to do a tour for timeshare and I didn't know so thanks for the heads up. That's not anything that I want to do at all.

They asked us once at the parking permit desk and that was it. Never talked to again!
