Hi MsFreud and welcome to the DIS! Looking forward to getting to know you better too!

Unfortunately DLRP are only allowed to hold fireworks a certain number of times a year due to the proximity of nearby villages. There will be Bastille Day fireworks on 14th July, then Wishes will be held nightly from 15th July to 26th August 2007. The night-time parade, Fantillusion, will be on from 14th July - 26th August.
It would be lovely if you could get to see them. Wishes is different to the one held at WDW and although both are very very lovely, I actually prefer DLRP's one!

What is "Wishes"? I found lovely pics in the gallery of Fantillusion. Looks like we'll be planning to go at least for a day trip some time in July.

I think another thing in DLP's favour over the bigger parks, and especially WDW, is that if you have little kids with you, its much kinder on their legs at DLP, as everything is in a much more compact space (although it really doesn't look like it).
