I was wondering who had their ceremony in the morning & how was it??

Was 9am ceremony to early for everyone

Did you have to wake up at 5-6am to start to get ready??

I am asking, cause Id like to spend the rest of the day walking around to different resorts taking pictures...I did that at wedding(doing VR now) and it was a blast cause each resort has so many unique settings for great pictures.

Any thoughts about the time??

am I pushing it ??:confused3

they offered me times of 10, 11 and noon. i chose noon because i thought that would give plenty of time to get ready. anna is coming to do my hair at 10-10:30 to get me downstairs and ready for the limo at 11:30. if you are an early riser then certainly go for the 9. just think about whether you would feel really rushed...

I think whatever you want to do, you should do it! ;) Our ceremony wasn't quite as early as 9am, but ours was at 11:30am. We all had to get up pretty early, like 6am, but it was so nice to have the rest of the day to relax and take it all in!

My ceremony is at 10 am, and I actually wanted it earlier but DFTW said that was the earliest I could have it. I want it early b/c I'm having my wedding at SBP and I don't want to my guests to melt. I'll probably wake up at 5:00 am, but I'm a morning person, so I don't mind. I doubt I'll sleep a wink the night before I get married anyway :goodvibes

Do it whatever time you want. I think that's a great idea going around to different resorts for pictures :)

We had ours at 9 a.m. We had to, because it was in Epcot.

DH and I woke up at 6 a.m. He got in the shower while I ate a small breakfast. (I had showered the night before.) Anna showed up to do makeup and hair at 6:30. Believe it or not, she was done by 7:00. At 7:30, we got on our chariot (the bus) to Epcot to meet Randy by 8:00 for pre-ceremony pictures.

The bus picked up our guests starting at 8:30, so I don't think anyone had to get up even as early as we did. DH's family complained endlessly about the "early" time, but no one else thought it was a big deal. It was worth it, because our reception was over by 2, and people could get on flights back home, and the people who were staying could enjoy the rest of the day!

Do as much as you can the night before. You won't be able to sleep, regardless!

at the earliest time they allowed at the Yacht Club Gazebo. It was 6/2004, and it was either at 9 or 10 a.m. Neither my husband or I can remember the exact time now! We started with hair and make-up early, i think 7 a.m. - so it was a 6 a.m. rise and shine to shower before the hair and make-up folks got to the room.

I enjoyed the early morning time slot.. plus as others have mentioned, it was June and very hot. I wore a full gown that weighed 8 lbs... no way I would have survived the afternoon heat!

We didn't sleep much the night before, and we were pretty tired by evening - but it was a great day!

Have fun planning!
