I'm not aware the two guys are in a competition with each other, as they both do very different characters.

However, Tom also did the Jesse Stone TV movie series, until they got increasingly depressing and there was no way for that series to recover from that.

Tom. Ever since I read that Chip & Dale were inspired by Indiana Jones and Magnum PI, I have a lot more respect for Tom! Dale is classic, if that’s not having an impactful career idk what is.

I was born in the late 80s and had to google Chip & Dale to see what you meant. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them outside of Rescue Rangers! But you’re right, original (classic) Dale is clearly not based on Magnum PI. The Rescue Rangers version seems to be, so Tom Selleck still gets my vote.

If we are talking about career, I would consider who who has the most net worth - public knowledge (how accurate/close? who knows/but you get an idea).

Does one have more awards than the other? Public knowledge.

In the end, are they both comfortable/satisfied and happy with their life and accomplishments? This, we will never know.

I like them both okay.
