Who had an awesome server on the MAGIC lately?

I posted this last week and only got one response. I did the Wonder twice and on the first cruise our servers did a super-duper, bang-up, over the top, bomb-diggity job. The second time our servers were okay, but nothing special. The servers on the first cruise MADE our nights SO SPECIAL.

We are doing the Magic in 7 weeks. Can anybody suggest a favorite? I thought maybe I could request somebody.

I can't believe more people haven't responded! Our family cruised last September and had Erasmo from Chile (I think) and Aswald as our servers. They were great and alot of fun too. There were 9 of us from ages 3-68 and we all thought they were great!

I just wanted to say the exact same thing happened to us - We went on the Wonder and had the best service we have had anywhere - Sasha and Remi - both from Croatia -

A year later, we went on the Magic, only to have servers that did not even compare to what we had on the Wonder -

Our cruise is coming up in three weeks ( ) - So like you, I
understand that depending on who your servers are, it can really make a difference in your trip!

We had William and Oka in February. They were wonderful wonderful. We have since heard that William was promoted to server so they are no longer together. I would recommend either one.

We were on the Magic in January and had Ronald and Jira as our servers. GREAT!!!!! They were so awesome!!!!

Karen -- Good news!!! Sasha is on the Magic! He was our server at the Palo and we loved him so much, we could've brought him home!!! I really can't say enough wonderful things about him...

Oh yeah, he was also the one who introduced us to Gaierhof Moscato Trentino D.O.C (the wine everyone here has been talking about!)

TGIF!!! We had Godwin as head server and Svet when we sailed on the 1/8 Magic. They were just wonderful. Could not have asked for more. They all work so hard. And it is so wonderful the way they share their own personal stories. My 5 yr old DS just the other day said he missed Svet, Godwin and Ary our room steward.

On the Jan 29 western we had Gabor from Hungary and Stoyan from Bulgaria....the BEST!!!!

On our Magic cruise last year we had Hemant... he was incredible... On our first night he asked if we wanted a "surprise dessert"... I reluctantly said no... but my husband said yes. He responded by bringing my husband every dessert on the menu! His service the rest of the week only got better. When we sailed this February, I was not aware that we could request the same server. The one that we had was a very nice person, but there was a definite language barrier. He did not get half of our orders correct because he was not understanding what we were asking. When walking through Lumiere's for lunch we saw that Hemant was still serving. We stopped to talk to him, and that is when we found out that we could make the special request. Needless to say, we requested him for our 2/06 cruise. He assured us that he would be there! I would highly recommend him!

I'm with you disneybridein2k. We had Sasha in Palos on the 2/5/05 cruise. He was wonderful! We had Anne Marie for the brunch there one day. She was excellent also!

We sailed with you in September and had Erasmo & Aswald also. We missed you at the DIS meet. Did you have late dining? We must have been right by each other.

They were great. Aswald was still pretty new working with Erasmo and it was noticable, but we really enjoyed him.

On our last cruise we had Aleksandra and David. In our 4 Dis cruises they have been the best so far. They worked very hard for us and made any request seem to be thier pleasure to fulfill. Our group of 13 were a handfull. Aleksandra is married to one of the other servers on the Magic. My wife thought that was very romantic. I thought about getting my wife a job where I work but decided it just wouldn't be the same-lol. Anyway, 5 stars for these great servers. They will be requested on our next Magic cruise.

We had them on our December 04 cruise and we also thought they were great. We were a party of 10 at one table and we had a great time.

We sailed 2 weeks ago - had Pairoj and Oksana - loved them!! Pairoj was great with aall of us, and we're STILL using his tag line with the kids -"Yummy, yummy" in his Thai accent. Oksana was on her first cruise as asst server and did great as well - quickly learned what we all wanted and was practically brining us tea/coffee/juice (whatever we normally requested) before we could even think about it. Both signed my kids' autograph books, and were glad to join us in our pictures - a great part (and fond memory) of our cruise experience.

On my cruise last August My servers were Paroj (something like that, we all called him big P) and Martin (we all called him big M) and they were AMAZING. We had a big party that was at three tables, and they were assigned to two of our tables. They were great they remembered all of our names and played games with the kids before the meals came, and we all made secret handshakes with them. Even when we saw them on the ship and they weren't serving us they rmrmbered us and were still friendly with us. I don't remember where they were from but I would definelty recommend them.

Did Stoyan just move from the Wonder? I thought we had Stoyan on our December 3-day cruise. If it is the same gentleman, he was great!

We had Alvin and Aswald on the Magic in October. Alvin was just back from a "break" (vacation?) and you could tell that he was missing home. He was very nice and once he found out dd loved cheesecake, he made sure that she had some each night. Aswald was wonderful.

We sailed on the Magic 2/26/05 and had Hemant and agree with the above poster he was incredible!!! There were 11 of us in our family and he was FABULOUS as was Pema our assistant server!!! We loved them both. We will definetly request them when we cruise again!!!!!

Hey American Scrapper (Kathy),

We had early seating with Erasmo and Aswald. We totally spaced out on the Dis meet and remebered after the meet. My friend fredascapper met up with scrapperjill and their daughters became great friends.
Have you seen scrapperjill's pages on the twopeasinabucket site? I have just done my first page from the cruise and she is already done. They really turned out great.
When's your next cruise? We are going to try the western again this September 24. Hopefully, the hurricanes will cooperate this time, LOL!
