We'll be there from Dec 26th - Jan 01! Yes yes, the stress of planning and making sure everything goes smoothly is beginning to become overwhelming. Time is ticking...and faster than I'd expected! eek!:earseek:

What is up with us Texan and the stress level while planning a trip? I think that's a sign we need to get out of the state badly!!!!!:jumping1:

We are so ready for this 8ths annual Christmas trip to WDW. First half of the trip we are at BW in a 2BR Villa and then we move to AKL for the second half.

But first I have to get through 25 recitals!! :earseek:

Then I can climb in the van and relax with my terrific family and meet some of my DIS family too.

Doesn't get much better than this...

25 recitals!!!!! Oh My!

I guess my 4 doesn't sound so bad now!

Our whole family 11 Texans and 4 Okies, ages 3 through 70, will be there Dec 19-26. Hoping for great weather.

Our family (Okies) usually commando through the parks, but because of the family make-up we will having a laid back, minimal planning, Christmas with just 100,000 of our closest friends. (No planning, this is nuts!!! Sorry I just had to get that off my chest.) Hoping for as little skin to skin contact as possible.

See ya'll there.

We'll be there Dec. 22 - 27!

Can't wait!

First time at Christmas for us!

Hello everyone,

My family and I will be in the World Dec. 27-Jan. 3. This is our first trip at Christmas, and I can't wait.

DB, DSIL, DN11, and DN9 fly into the Orlando area on 12/20 on a red-eye from CA. They are concentrating on Universal and Sea World until we arrive (driving) from CT on the 24th (@#$%DH's HS having school on the 23rd). We're staying at a villa in Windsor Palms from the 24th until 1/3. I'm very excited. I quit planning about 2 weeks ago--think I just turned it over to the powers in charge of pixie dust!

I do have the Disney box packed with Disney Pez from the Dollar Tree Store, Illumination swingy things from the LBV Character Corner, t-shirts from the spring sales, guest of honor badges for all, and some $.99 Mickey/Minnie lollipops from a local grocery store.

I've got the PSes made and now just have to print out the right stuff from TourguideMike. I was really stressing over this Christmas trip because DSIL has never wanted to visit WDW in a crowded time. They live close to DL and go there often, but the boys have never been to WDW, and I was hoping it would be wonderful. I'm working hard to let go of "perfect."

We've been two other Christmases and really loved it. I plan to spend some time just checking out resort trees, gingerbread houses, and decorations.

See ya'll soon!

DH, DM, DF and I will be there! Fly in on the 23rd and leave the 30th. I wish we were staying through New Years. Ah, but got to get back to work. Can you believe that my school district starts back on Fri Jan 2nd!? Ridiculous! Can't wait. Starting to pack this weekend.

Happy Holidays.

We will be there Dec 19-Jan 3. I just can't wait. All we talk about at home is disney this and disney that. Our other family members think we are crazy We hope to see you down there:hug:
and have a Happy Holiday's

The more I see the responses, the more I think I should have called this the Texas Christmas thread!!!

I am exercising a little more. I want to eat all I can :o Not just that, Disney can be hard on the feet. My biggest prep is keeping my DH from spilling the beans. Sometimes he just says things out loud like the word plane. I go crazy. I'm mean come on, it is a secret!!!

Another Texan joining in.:D We'll be there 12/18-1/4. We go to MVMCP on the 19th.

We will be there from the 19th - 21st. Whole family could not go so we will be going home for Christmas. We will also be at MVMCP on the 19th. Hope to see everyone there.

We will be spending our 2nd Christmas at walt disney world . We'll be there from the 19th to the 28th .. Merry Christmas to all

If you guys are planning for parade times, you may want to go to the Disney website and recheck the times. It looks like the MK parades have new times (at least for Dec. 22). There will be 2 Mickey's Very Merry Holiday Parades and the Spectromagic's second time frame moved from 10:00 to 10:15.

Hope everyone has a great trip! We are watching the special on the travel channel tonight on WDW for the Holidays (Sun. 12/14 9:00 pm EST).
