Who gets teary-eyed?

The Great Movie Ride! Ya know the montage (sp?) scene in the end? That one makes me cry EVERY time.

Yes, and I cry at all of the above too - Main Street, the music, magical moments, but no one has mentioned the Great Movie Ride yet.

I forgot about that one! Yes that always makes me get emotional. And when I walk into Epcot's main gates at night and they have the music playing and the twinkling lights in the pavement. Everything is just beautiful. I think most of the time it's the music that gets me. It just adds so much more emotion!

Nope.

I'm probably the least emotional person you will ever meet in your life. Seriously. And I cry when I see Wishes.

I get emotional every year.

I cry during Wishes
I cry during Spectromagic
I cry during the parades
I cry when my kids are excited about seeing the characters
I used to cry during Tapestry of Dreams
I cry during Illuminations
I especially cried a couple of years ago when I saw Snow White for the first time in my life (she's my favorite)

I could go on and on - I'm very emotional and I have many happy tears.

We also couldn't afford to go to Disney growing up. My first trip was in '98 and I've been 6 times since. But the first time I saw the castle I broke down. I still cry at the end of Illuminations, and also during the Candlelight Processional. Oh yeah, I think someone already mentioned the pre-show at Honey I Shrunk the Audience.

Apparently, I go on vacation to become a weepy emotional mess ;)

I am there EVERY weekend and sometimes during the week, I cry at something (or many things) EVERY time we go........

I didn't read through all 5 pages so I don't know if I am the only one or not.....cried in March watching Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade in AK!!! :rotfl: To me that is SOOOOO Disney...that parade just entertains me to no end!

Of course, I cry almost non stop at WDW!! LOL I just love the feeling that I get when I am there. I know you all understand....I can't explain it or relay my feelings to someone that just "doesn't get it"!! Not worth my time! :teeth:

You are in good company. I haven't seen Wishes yet, but I always teared-up during fantasy in the sky, and also during the opening of spectro. The music- the smell- the lighting effects... it gives me the warm fuzzies. I think sometimes about how Disney is so magical... I mean, other amusement complexes, like six, flags just don't have the same vibe. More than likely, if you get choked up at six flags, it's due to a lodged corn dog. Disney is unlike any other... we love it! :lovestruc

I found people just like me! I haven't been to WDW for a while, but I know I got teary eyed the first day in the magic kingdom, just entering Main Street. The atmosphere and all the little kids getting pictures with the characters and smiling - I lost it.... Now I'm planning my next trip and I can't seem to stop crying when I think about it. Watching the planning video, and I'm crying! And now every time I hear "A dream is a wish your heart makes" and "When you wish upon a star" I get all choked up! I'm gonna be a blubbering mess on this next trip! :earboy2:

Yep, I tend to lose it any time there are fireworks involved. Or "When you wish upon a star" is playing. And I CAN'T stop! It's nutty. Before you think I am completely off my rocker, my husband had proposed at the California Grill, with a window seat, overlooking Cinderalla's castle and...the recording (someone get me a tissue) of "when you wish upon a star" was playing. So now anytime there's fireworks, there's waterworks too! Ah, warm fuzzy feelings!

I couldn't have said it better..... :goodvibes

I am usually a very strong woman. Never cry. I get to WDW and clear my tear ducts for a decade. :rolleyes1

As we drive under the sign that says "Welcome to Walt Disney World" I tear up. As soon as I see the castle, takes my breath away. :goodvibes

But Wishes :cloud9: :cloud9: and Spectromagic  ... the tears just roll. One Man's Dream... I'm a mess.
Illuminations... buy stock in Kleenex... :lovestruc :lovestruc

I finally, after 10 trips, finally! saw Carosel of Progress in December. I'm so glad it's a theater and I could compose myself when we had to leave. :umbrella: :umbrella: :umbrella:

I have sat through funerals, like Jackie Kennedy Onasis, and not shed a tear.

But get me to my Main Mouse House, and I 'm a virtual sprinkler system.... :umbrella: :umbrella: :umbrella: go figure....

Great thread. Thank you for starting it!!! :cloud9:

Well...
My friend Bonny (MommytoMJM) has been known to cry at the drop of a hat. :earsboy: Certainly a sprinkle of pixie dust will set her off! :rotfl: And she's in WDW every weekend, folks, so if you see a nice lady bawling at Wishes, it might be her! Stop and say hello! :rotfl2:

That is so sweet, I am so jealous! :p

Ok at the risk of sounding like a hopelessly Disney-addicted family...
My kids wanted to watch a movie tonight and I told them they had to come to an agreement so they decided to have me pop some popcorn and watch the WDW vacation planning DVD (mind you we just went in March, the next trip isn't anywhere near the planning phase). I sat down and watched it with them and darn it if I didn't get a bit misty watching Wishes on the silly DVD

I always tear up and cry at the first sounds of the trumpets in the beginning of Spectromagic.

But even worse in MGM at Honey I shrunk the Audeince preshow. The Kodak lost dog sequence. I actually bawl my eyes out everytime. I'm probably one of the only people inside with the 3d glasses on to hide my tears.

No, that's me too, I'm tearing up right now thinking about the little boy trying to find his dog and when he does, I always have tears!!!!!

I love that part!!!
