1 week, 2 weeks etc. Is it excited nervousness? The weather forecast? Room request? Just curious if anyone else goes through this, if you have one to add, go right ahead.:rotfl2:

We're 2 weeks and 2 days out. Weeeeeee!

We drive down from NH. I always get nervous about the drive and I imagine it will rain the whole time we are there!

The biggest one...will someone get sick?? I am queen of worry so I could give you some you couldn't imagine. Weather, a huge worry after someone getting sick. My family hates me 2 weeks before the trip I quarantine them:rotfl2: the entire time we are there we go through about a bottle a day of the Clorox hand sanitizer. Another big one, will all of my ADRs be there? Now add FP+?

Oh wow you sound like me, My biggest is weather however, I think since its FLorida will we be hit with a HURRICANE while there....lol! WIthout fail that is my first thought and looking at the weather stations for Orlando is my daily routine starting at 30 days out...lol :rotfl2::rotfl:

Yup, we were at the Grosvenor(sp?) our only non-Disney resort stay ever when Charlie came through Orlando in 2004. It was wicked, but we have gone in September 5+ times and never been rained on more than 2 days since. On the other hand everyone says April is a great month and we got hit 4 days in a row with rain that trip. I have also seen the forecast call for rain every day of our trip, and have it not rain once. So I try not to look before we get there anymore.

Got to admit before our trip last August, my biggest worry was always the weather. I normally start my daily check about 10 days out and am always worried that we'll get hit with monsoon rains every day , thanfully, it's never happened :). But someone getting sick just before or while there never entered my mind until our last trip when my oldest DD got sick the first night of our trip, ended up at Celebration Hospital, and was sick for most part of the week :sad2:. For this coming trip, I've already warned the kids that I plan to wrap them in bubble wrap about 2 weeks before we leave just as a precaution :rotfl2:

:thumbsup2 We went the week after Easter last year, and I was seriously considering skipping Easter with my family because my nieces that go to daycare are always sick, and I was afraid they would get us sick.:rotfl: THATS how crazy I get.

Oh, I COMPLETELY understand!!! My oldest DD actually works part-time as a daycare teacher while she's in college and that girl is ALWAYS sick. That is why I tease her with things like wearing bubble wrap and bathing in sanitizer solutions two weeks before we leave this time around :rotfl:

I used to get super nervous about the weather, especially for our first few trips. I'd obsessively check the Accuweather site everyday starting at 30 days out. I was so stressed out about a hurricane hitting, or it raining every day, but now that we've been several times, and at different times throughout the year, we have a good idea of what to expect - that FL weather really can't be predicted. At all. So we just roll with the punches, and bring ponchos. ;)

On the other hand, I do always get nervous on our travel day. I have butterflies the entire time - though I'm sure it's also partly due to the excitement. I hate getting there, but I love arriving, and that makes it all worth it.

We check in on 4/9, I decided that I am not going to look at the forecast at all before we leave to go. I would check it every day for a week in advance, and drive myself nuts. Lol

I'm 135 days out from travel and I'm nervous! HA!

Weather is my primary concern... then actually being able to afford everything that I've decided on...then making flight arrangements, then taking time off from work... (in that order)!

Closer to it will be packing, and wondering if I've forgotten something...

Yes, and Ive learned its not at all accurate. We had rain forcasted every day of our last trip. We were there 10 days, and it rained ONCE
