Thanks all, again! Her liquid diet was limited! Took away broth, supposed to re-introduce at dinner again tonight. Oh brother! Jello, tea and some frozen sugar water was all she had since lunch yesterday. Get this tho, they told her she could have Chuckles (the jelly candy) - just a couple a day AND white wine, if Dad could sneak it in! WTHeck?!?!?! They drew blood today to test for celiac disease (gluten intolerance). She swears she doesn't have that. Dr. Mom.

We took a walk this afternoon, around her floor, the 14TH Floor! She likes to stand at the floor-to-ceiling windows and just look around outside. Not I, thank you! I stood by the wall.

Hello from Arkansas everyone.

We've been to Texas and are now on our return journey north.

It is spring in Texas, the trees are flowering and there are tons of daffodils everywhere and I mean everywhere.

It was so great to see that.

I don't think we will be home until sometime on Monday.

Miss all of you.

Quite totally by accident we ended up driving right by Graceland

Didn't mean to do it but got turned around and there it was.

We also drove by the very first home that Bill Clinton lived in.

What an educational trip we have been having

PD, someday we gotta meet!!! Mom loves licorice, mostly black licorice, but can't have the black chuckles until the celiac disease results come in. She GAVE AWAY 2 black chuckles today!!!! I was floored!!! I also brought her a 4-pack of Chardonnay, I think? The small bottles, kinda as a joke, but she hid them from my Dad - the food & drink overseer. And, the windows....I guess the other night, when Dad left, Mom stayed at the 14th floor window to wave a last goodbye (DD - me - puking here - LOL), and they waved goodnight, but Dad told her later she shouldn't stand at the window because he could see up her gown!!

Chuckles are a jelly-type (not gummy) yummy candy that comes in a pack of 5, red, black, orange, yellow and green, and I listed that in my order of preference!

Kelly has 2 competitions today, at 12 and 7. In between, we have DFIL's 80th BD party to try and get to. After her 2nd comp, we may go back again, if anyone is still partying.

Mom is CONFIDENT she's going home Sat., also. We'll see. She is eating food (hospital food anyway, and gluten-free, yuck), and the IV feedings have stopped, but they left her central line in. She can't go home with that still in. Saturday will definately be BUSY for us!

Thanks everyone! The thoughts and prayers this week seemed to be the turning point for her - finally!

The purpose of the trip was to go there and get what we needed and turn around and come back again, so I guess we are accomplishing that so far.

hi ya TKer's - how the heck are you all??? I think of you all so very much and hoping all is well with all of you!!!! So many of you i hear from on FB so i'm not totally out of sync!!!

Just starting to research excursions for our Oct eastern caribbean (st thomas & st maarten) so was on the boards today to get some ideas/reviews/photos etc. - if any of you have an idea/suggestion (good or bad)...please send my way.

the weather is just really getting to be gorgeous here in Calif - still cool mornings - but mid 60's for our highs with a promise of 70's this week. I am so sorry if any of you are still experiencing 'winter' weather

I will be there that day (on my BD) by myself!!!! waiting for the rest of my 'cruise partners' to arrive ...2 get in that night - 2 thurs a.m. and my daughter, sister & niece not till friday night...but i need a few days in the world before sailing - since i'm going to be in FL anyway!!!!

Kim-Kim-a-knee!!! Thanks Betsy! And, BP of course, for inventing my name!

Mom is BACK in the hospital (her 3rd time), a different hospital tho this time! NO ONE, anywhere, seems to be helping her! Same tests, same questions, another colonoscopy (her 3rd) scheduled for Monday. Her dehydration after her 'episodes' are becoming faster after she leaves the hospital each time tho. It's scary, but we can't do anything else but WAIT! Thoughts and prayers, again, please! Mom has spent 17 out of the last 21 days in the hospital, and all told, she's been sick almost a month now! UNbelievable, I know - first-hand!!

Thanks Robin! New hospital, new Dr., some repeat and some new tests are scheduled. Repeat colonoscopy and upper GI, new CT scan of her small intestine and a chest xray(?). Whatever works! At least I hope something works!

I am in the airport on my way to WDW...David is having a blast already, and we haven't even gotten there yet! Right now we are in Syr. NY, waiing to board the plane. We should get into MCO by 7:30PM
We are just going to hang around the resort tonight...or maybe go to TTD for dinner..

I hope the weather decides to warm up, but if not I brought sweatshirts and a jacket..so we will be just fine!

I will be posting as much as I can get on...So Ill try to keep you updated.
