More thoughts and prayers, please. Mom is not doing well. She did not go home yesterday, and may be in for as much as another week. She had a port put in to administer her meds, draw blood, and provide her nutrition. She had a blood transfusion also. She is not responding to treatment.

Wow, Kim. I'm so sorry to hear about all that is happening to your mom.

I sure hope that things straighten themselves out real soon.

Hey everyone~

Kim - you know P&PD for your mother. I hope her recovery is speedy, painless and quick.

PD - I'm SO sorry to hear about your loss. It's weird how those things can hit us so hard, isn't it? You are in my prayers, too.

Robin - I have to tell you I thought of you when I was last in Orlando....I was meeting a friend for breakfast and they had Eggs Benedict with (drum roll....) spinach! Guess what I had? I was giggling when I saw the menu and had to explain it to my friend (she didn't think it was as funny as I did).

All is well here. Planning a sisters trip (maybe the 3rd is the charm). This time in May - still in Charleston. We'll probably book it and do it this time. March & April didn't work!

HI Threadkillers!

Well, it looks like the sisters are FINALLY going to get together. It won't be until May, but we're booked! We're going to stay in Charleston, SC. I'd love to say we're staying in one of the awesome historic buildings, but alas, it's the Hampton Inn. However, it's in the historic district (smack in the middle) and the price was right.

I hope everyone is doing well. The thread is very quiet, so I thought I start out with what's going on with me, hoping ya'll would do the same....

Ok here's the scoop with me. I am working on an incredibly long litigation and my papers are do in Court on Friday, so I have been MIA and will be for the rest of the week. Saturday my college age daughter and I are going to WDW for a long weekend. She will be home for SPring Break. We are staying at POP. On the 27th I go to WDW with the rest of the family as that is when my high school daughters have their SPring Break. That trip is for a week and we are staying at Boardwalk.

hello busy peoples.

Alex will be getting his first house at the end of the month and we are helping to get things in order for that.

Rick and I might be leaving early on Wednesday morning for a quick business trip to Texas........driving. If we go, we will be gone for 5 days.

My dance teacher has returned from her vacation, so we had dance class tonight

I've been doing twice weekly visits to the chiropractor to try to fix my left arm that does not want to move properly.

The weather has been fantastic the past few days, which makes life seem so much happier.

There doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to accomplish everything that needs doing

As for me, I went to work (boss is home from surgical rehab, but still unable to work), then I went to see Mom, and then came home and made dinner and then drove Kelly and 3 boys to Monday night band. My late night. Home after 9pm.

The Drs are baffled as to why Mom isn't responding at all, so they're giving her another colonoscopy tomorrow. She's thrilled - Not! Still NO FOOD either.

I've stayed at the POP Century quite a few times, actually it is the only Disney Resort that I've stayed at.

We like it there just fine but then we are not fancy people

We enjoyed the themeing and found the rooms to be of an adequate size to suit us.

The bus service from there was great because the buses only go there. They don't stop at other places along the route. Well at least they did when we were there.

I'm really excited to try the POP this time. CBR is nice and relaxing, but I enjoy the Big, Bold, Coloring and Fun that Disney is, too! POP looks like what I want! When I become fan$y, I'll stay at GF!

If I had the money I think I would like to stay in the Grand Floridian. Looks like a really nice place to stay.

I don't think there's much chance of that ever happening though

We are off to Texas. Everybody behave while I'm gone

Hi Threadkillers!

I hope everyone has had a great day! I met my nephew & his wife for lunch today at a sub shop....yumm! I was in the mood for a sandwich. Other than that, I went to the grocery store and met a fellow couponer...nice girl and new to the area.

Tomorrow I have a routine doctors appt & making a coconut cream pie for card night on Friday.

Kim - I hope your mom is doing well. You've been in my thoughts.

Thank you Ann! She started on a liquid diet at lunch today. When I left at 2:30, all things were 'holding steady'. Biopsy results might be in Thursday.
