Evening. :) Hope everyone is well. :grouphug: I'm wonderful :goodvibes Work is "okay" I would of never guessed all the drama that goes on in management but then again you put a bunch of hormonal women in a room together and what do you get???:3dglasses DRAMAAAAAAAAAAAAA  It gets pretty interesting...frustrating...annoying....entertaining....depressing...confusing....funny.... yada yada yada.... But anyhoo...:headache:

I'm not up to date with the happenings with my TK'ers....but I'm going to try and read back a lil.....

But I wanted to tell you about our Disney plans... :cutie:
We pushed our Disney dates back one week. I still have to change my ticker. Raj is deploying around that time so I had to push it back.

We changed resorts too. :cool1: Staying at AKL (savannah view) :hyper:

Anyone have experience with AKL? It's our first time at this resort.

 Hi Cally.

Tomorrow I'm off down the I-75 to Florida.

I'll wave on my way by, okay :wave2:

Bye Robin!

When I said my friend should get in touch with Rick I had given John the link you gave us for Rick's flying group~

Hi Cally!!

AKL is a great hotel. We only stayed one night before our cruise in 05 but Ii made a point to see as much of the resort as possible. Hidden hot tubs and a beautiful pool, Boma is a nice restaurant, lots of detail in the decor along with a little history. Make sure you ask for the hidden mickey hunt when you check in. Even the gift shop is impressive. Then of course you have the ankole and giraffes and zebras and flamingos. The only drawback is probably that it is furthest from everything except AK. You can only do busses if you dont have a car- be sure to allow plenty of travel time.

Did you know shades of green is offering 5 day passes to military personnel for free!? My mom is using that this coming august and taking Adrian and his girlfriend. Their passes are only $99 for the 5 days and can be upgraded to hoppers for an extra $25. The link to all the info on the offer is on the Dis homepage. The passes have to be purchased at SOG and the Disney ticket windows only.

Here I am! I have been sick as can be with an upper respiratory thingy for the past week. Was in bed all afternoon Friday and all day on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Went into work for part of the day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday because I just had so much to do! Today I worked a full day and I feel like I'm back to myself again! I still sound funny...but think ridiculously sexy husky voice, a la Demi Moore:rotfl2: Of course the intermittent hacking like an old lady with consumption or a patient in a TB hospital certainly takes away from the sexiness!:rotfl: I was totally miserable, like oh my goodness my head is going to explode. Haven't had a whole night's sleep since last Wednesday night!:scared1:

:scared1: Yikes....Maybe james gave it to you, he had the same thing all week. Feel Better!

The plane DISer has been told he should hook up with your Rick. His name is John. He and his wife sailed with Mom and I in 2005. They live in Phoenix.

...and yet another threadkiller mystery has been solved.

Wii Night sounds FUN!

Went to Ikea today to look at furniture. Yikes that place gave me a splitting headache. Besides I aint too keen about putting my own stuff together.:lmao:

I did buy Makie a Egg shaped chair that swivels around & has a cover. Quite a contraption but cute. But will take between now & Easter to put together.

We watched Blazing Saddles & now Caddyshack on AMC. Saw Changeling last night, directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Angelie Jolie....WOW one of the BEST movies I saw in a looooooooooooooooong Time. You all gotta see it!:thumbsup2

I went to a demo last night with my sis, John and Britt hung home and watched Saw 5. I have seen the first four and seriously, that was enough for me

My niece will be attending Magicneets with me this year! She and my Mother went to the first one with me. It will be interesting to get her opinion of the changes we have made since then. I also wanna make a point to get a group shot of all the kids, including my niece, that were all there in the beginning-kindof a then and now shot.

DU, I have never gone to ikea, but figure its not too easy when my sis bought a bed for her daughter and the matress fell to the floor cause nobody grabbed bed slats

Hi Threadkillers!

I hope ya'll are having a great Sunday! We're having a quiet afternoon. We went to our favorite pizza place for lunch and are thinking a nap.

I've not been on-line for several days - sorry about that. I've been thinking of you, tho!

Take care! Ann

Hi again everyone!

I just made reservations - Tom and I are going camping for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We originally were considering Key West, but decided on Lake Okeechobee. Can't wait!

Betsy - How is the job search going for you & Mike? I hope that if you do end up moving, you'll love where you're going.

DU - can you believe I've NEVER seen an Ikea store? I guess we're not cosmopolitan enough here in Orange Park! I hope things are settling out for you.

PD - I'm glad to hear your feeling better. Tom LOVES the sexy/cold voice  Take care of yourself!

Cally - it's great to see you back on the boards.

Colleen - you sure do a lot with the MagicMeet. I checked out the website - it's a little too far for us to travel this year, but I'd love to see it one day....who knows!

Ya'll take care - I'm going to make myself a ticker!

I couldnt make it past 1. YUK I am squeamish.

:lmao: Was my first time. YIKES it gave me a headache. They had nice stuff, and the prices werent bad...BUT its a workout just to get what you want. You have to write down the location of ALL the pieces, then go to another floor, round it all up on a flat...pay for it, schlep it home...and put it together. WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too much work.
Ikea is for the youngsters, under 19 crowd.:3dglasses

Right now it's actually snowing. :faint:

What?!?!?!:confused3

KEEP IT. It's not suppose to be too bad where I live....suppose to get bad east of here. Should be fun getting to work tommorrow.:scared1:

Isny that wher the cartoon characters Pongo live????

DU - can you believe I've NEVER seen an Ikea store? I guess we're not cosmopolitan enough here in Orange Park! I hope things are settling out for you.!

IKEA is just ok. I did get 2 set of silverware...12 pieces each for 3.99. I could always use them. Dad gets confused between plastic & real utensils...and throws them out. I did see a neat Kitchen butherblock thing...with lotsa draws. maybe,

I am sooooooooooooooo skittish on buying anything these days.:scared1:

Things are slowing down...just because I took a break for a week. It's not good when one needs a Xanax just to write thank you cards, close accounts, go through personal items. I will start up again this week.
I almost lost it while on the phone with the VISA guy the other night!:rolleyes1

Mom had 30k credit card limit (not bad for someone who only got 500 a month from Soc Security) That was in her name only. She only owed 1k. And she had Insurance on that. So we dont hve to pay. But IF we only knew she coulda charged up a fortune.:lmao:

Went to my neices for dinner today. All was well, Makie was hysterical today. BUT my neice as a couch that fits 3...and invited 6 people over (plus their 3 1/2). So i had to bring folding chairs, soda, cake...etc. It's easier for me to have dinner here!:rolleyes1

BYW as per Makie my name is something like "A-nun-cle-Ah-nind-min-icky-dee. Somehow she mixes my name with my Uncle mickey...and smooshes them all together.:lmao: No one can even quite say it how she says it.:lmao:
