Ann, where are you going for Christmas again?

I've forgotten, getting older ya know;)

Dang! We did it again! Everything sounds wonderful and it looks like everyone had a great time.

BTW, it's "Meringue"

That looks better :lmao:

I've got another picture that I'm going to post in a minute.

It's one of my Christmas tree.

We're going to St. Augustine, FL. Staying at the Casa Monica www.casamonica.com. The restaurant in the hotel (95 Cordova) is where we're having Christmas dinner. SO excited!

Here you go.

This is what my Christmas tree looks like this year.:goodvibes

I've given up and just decided to leave it that way.

Doesn't seem to make much sense to do otherwise:rotfl2:

Just took that picture a few minutes ago with the little darling who is responsible for this year's decorating style.

Okay...THAT'S funny! I think if you had a bigger tree, they could climb it rather than knock it down!

I wasn't going to put any kind of tree up at all this year for just this reason.

Being only 10 months old, I figured Duster would have fun playing with it.

Then I thought, okay, I'll just put the little table top tree out and maybe she will leave it alone.

Wrong.

Oh, well, it has no decorations on it to break, so I guess it won't hurt anything.

Is it just you and Tom going?

Yep! Did you check out the hotel? It's going to be a :lovestruc romantic :lovestruc get away...just the two of us!

BTW - Sunny and 75 on Christmas Eve & Christmas day, Sunny and 76 the day after!

Maybe next year Duster can climb the big tree! I wonder if there's a way you can anchor it...but then you run into the "it's more trouble than it's worth" category!

Just starting to look at it right now.

Just starting to look at it right now.

The sister's have spent a sister's trip there, but it's a really romantic hotel. The rooms are amazingly beautiful and the pool is small, but really nicely arranged.

I agree. I'm not that much into Christmas to start with, so I dont' think I'd go to the trouble.

Right now Mischief is trying to open the gifts under the tree:eek:

It is a beautiful place Ann.

Looks like a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the holidays.

They're OPENING the presents?!? Tell them it's too early!

Thanks - Tom and I are really excited about the trip. It's been a while since just the two of us have gotten away. Usually we have someone with us or we're going to see someone....

Mischief likes to scratch at things like paper. So she goes for the wrapping paper.

I told her to stop and now she is just sleeping right up close to the pile of gifts:rotfl:

I'm sure that you will both have a great time there. It looks so nice.

Rick and I are going to Chicago on the weekend....... ooooo, how exciting is that:rotfl2:

No palm trees in Chicao and no warmth right now either :sad2:

No warmth and no palm trees, but I've heard Chicago is a beautiful city. I've never been there. I've also heard their deep dish pizza is to die for (you know me - it all boils down to food!)

I'm headed to lullaby land, so I'll sign off for now. We're bringing the computer, but don't know if we'll use it. If not....

Merry Christmas Threadkillers!

Enjoy your time away Ann.

Chicago is probably a nice place but not necessarily at this time of the year.

:cold:

Yes, I've heard that Gino's is the place to eat if you are ever near Chicago, so we may have to give it a try if we see one.
