I have TONS of favorites! I really like the EPCOT restaurants, chefs des france and le cellier. I have to try the new Italian restaurant, I used to love alfredos. I love the Mexican counter service(La Cantina?) I love Sci FI Drive at Disney Hollywood Studios. Spoodles is a favorite restaurant on the Boardwalk. We went to the Trail's End Buffet at Camp WIlderness last time we were at Mk and found it to be surprisingly good!

WIll you still be doing your College program at the end of June/beginning of July? You'll have to let me know where I can find you!

I've heard that the new Italian restaurant is amazing too. I'll have to try the counter service at the Mexico pavilion. Years ago we ate at Tangereine Cafe and we loved it. We're trying Jiko's, Flying Fish, and California Grill this trip too. I've heard good things so that's good. Then I have to get some Macadamia Nut Pancakes at Kona Cafe! And I love Yak and Yeti too :lovestruc I want to try some schoolbread this time!

I may be the only DISser who is not fond of schoolbread. I think it is sooo dry! But I love the sweet frosted pretzels at that bakery!

To the best of my knowledge I've never had anything called schoolbread.

I dont' even know what it is?

I'd never heard of it either. It is like a HUGE custard filled doughnut with coconut shavings on the top. I expected to love it, but found the dough was very dry. I like my doughnuts to be moist!

Doesn't sound like something that I would like either:confused3

Of course I'd have to taste it first before I pass judgement.

SWTHD - You're gonna have SO much fun! My sisters and I LOVE the California Grill. I have some pics of their food if you're interested. Very nice of you to give your friend options.

PD - You & SWTHD put the phone numbers in your phone?! I thought I was the ONLY one who did that. I also have Disney Cruise Line on my contacts...which I bet Cruisin does, too! I also want to try the new Italian Restaurant. I've heard rave reviews.

Robin - I've always wanted to try the school bread and I've seen it in the shop windows, but I'm pretty sure it has cinnamon in it.

Well, my day consists of meeting my girlfriend, a little shopping for our church giving tree and returning some chairs and a cooler to my parents house we used for Thanksgiving and the Christmas Party.

I hope ya'll are having a GREAT day and talk at you soon!

Yeah, I wish we could have gotten more time off. But this coming year i'll get my fix of the world ;) I need to make a list of all the things I want to see! Hopefully all the resorts and i'd like to eat at every TS restaurant.

I start on January 21st. I would be so happy if you could come and visit!

The California Grill

Order their cheese plate...the cheeses change seasonally and every time I've had it - it was AMAZING!

My sisters split this salad. I can't remember what it was, but the dressing had an ingredient I was allergic to. They loved it.

The goat cheese ravioli...it's no mistake it's been on their menu for 15 years...

A really great Riesling at a decent price.

One of the sisters order fish...I stayed FAR away (allergic), but it looked awesome and she really loved it.

By far, the best dish in ALL of WDW. It's their signature dish and has been since the restaurant opened. It's a pork loin with a goat cheese polenta. I get it every time...I just can't help myself!

I write down restaurant experiences in this book when I travel. As you can tell by the corks, we had champagne, too. What a fun night that was for the sisters!

Dessert - it was good, but not the same calibre as the food. The "congrats" sign was for our fun sister's trip - we had fun with the wait staff, the chef (he visited us) and the manager....a great group of folks!.

Oh my gosh Ann now i'm all excited! Thanks for sharing! :goodvibes I'm definately going to order the same thing

Okay I need to vent/ rant a bit. I've decided: (and this might sound weird but I had a bit of inner conflict on what I should do diet wise) I really like eating vegan but at the same time I don't want to miss out on some really great food. I eat at home like 90 percent of the time and I only eat at restaurants like twice a month. And next year i'll have to save money during the CP. But I want to try new Disney restaurants so i'll only go out to dinner probably twice a month tops. So I decided while i'm at home i'll eat vegan and then when I go out to dinner i'll order what I want. That's like 12 - 24 days a year of not eating vegan. It significantly reduces my carbon footprint (makes me feel better about my impact on the environment and not eating a lot of animals). I just want to be able to try good food and live.

Does that sound crazy? Ok, rant over :rotfl:

You do what works best for you....it's vacation - enjoy yourself!

Whew! The Tree is DOWN and all the Christmas stuff is put away. !

HUH?????:confused3  :confused3  :confused3

If you are gonna be away..why ja put Decorations up in the first place?

DU - I've never priced a Wii...is that a good price? I LOVE amazon.com!
!

250 is the going rate...WHEN you can get one...after all these years they are still hard to get. Anytime i find out there will be Wii on sale at Amazon... I start a thread....sor far a few Disers got them!:thumbsup2

I did a HUGE bulk of my Xmas shopping on Amazon. No Tax & no Shipping...and for the most part the LOWEST prices.:yay: :yay: :yay:
(gotta be careful with their Toy prices though....Walmart...often comes in lower on a lot of toys)

Do you have any dining favorites? I have some ideas in mind but i'm always open to suggestions and there's still so many I haven't tried

My favs are

Sci Fi Diner in Disney Studios. Their Monte Cristo sandwiches & its a FUN place.

Best fish sticks I ever had were in Columbia Harbor House (MK- Right across from The Haunted Mansion. You HAVE TO SIT UPSTAIRS over the walkway between Fantasyland & Liberty Square...grat quiet place to people watch...and ZONE OUT!:thumbsup2

I also love the Coral Reef in Epcot...the food is hit or miss there...BUT the AMBIENCE is Disney at its Finest!

And I gotta say NUTIN but NUTIN beats the Chicken Alfredo at the POP Century!!!! And I mean NUTIN!

Now I am hungry!
