Hi TW! It's quiet on the Threadkillers board today. I've not bought the Tinkerbell movie. I believe LM saw it and like it...

I had a quiet day today. DH and I went out for b'fast, went to Wal-Mart and got some stuff for the grand babies for Halloween next year (on sale), read a bit, watched football, napped for 3 hours, ate dinner and now we're reading more and watching more football!

I hope everyone has a GREAT day and POST! We're too quiet today!

After a late night Friday night John and I pretty much hung out all weekend~

I've been prepping our attic for re-insulation for the winter. I've been gonig thru my Christmas stuff since it's out of the attic at the moment. Repacking it mostly. My back porch has turned into a shed and I've been slowly weeding stuff out of that room - that's the room that's supposed to be my portrait studio. Next week sometime I want to call Home Depot in for a home improvement consult. We need alot of stuff done to the house so I figured I'd get it all estimated out at once.

Tomorrow I have an interview at a temp agency. Work is work, right?

Tuesday I'll be home,

Wednesday I finally go test for the job with the NJ Tax division.

Thursday I'm home,

then Friday & Saturday I have a wedding to prepare for and photograph.

Busiest week I've had in a while~

Today I didn't dust and vacuum

Tomorrow, I probably wont' dust and vacuum. However, I'm going to frost and decorating another cake for my DM's birthday celebration on Tuesday (another chocolate, cheesecake filling one).

Tuesday the sister's are coming! The Sister's are coming! Who cares about dusting and vacuuming!

Good Morning Threadkillers!

No dusting and vacuuming yet! But soon....

I just returned from the store. I had to buy some chocolates for the sister's room. Susan LOVES Almond Rocha and Mary loves Ghiradelli, so I got both of those and some coffee M&Ms.

I've got to scoot. I HAVE to do the dusting and vacuuming and then decorate a cake. Plus I have Bunco at 5:30.

Vacuuming and dusting is done! Kitchen is cleaned! The Fall decorations are up and I'm off to make fudge frosting for the cake! (and make another mess in the kitchen)

Hi Robin,

I've not heard from sewer for a while...

The cake is filled and frosted. It's currently cooling in the fridge before I decorate it.

Then I've got to get ready for Bunco. Me, and two buddies are going to McDonalds before and we leave at 5:30.

We are having the strangest weather day here today.

It alternates between beautiful brilliant sunshine and major downpours with a lot of thunder.

And it changes about every half hour

Weird.

Okay...here's the cake. It's the old stand-by - chocolate cake, cheesecake filling, fudge frosting.

I wanted to make pink flowers for the color scheme. It's not my best work, but I like it, especially the colors. The good news...the taste of this particular cake is out of this world!

Oh...it's also still on the turntable....
