Unfortunately I had a work meeting so I missed the whole game!

WOW! What a beautiful place to have a picnic and your cheese plate looks FAB! YUMMMM....now I'm hungry!
Hey...we're on-line the same time! I was satisfied with football today - Pittsburgh (my team) won even though the Jags (DH's team) didn't.
Sorry your missed seeing your team play....
Sorry your missed seeing your team play....
I didn;t even notice that...and I went back and looked over and over....but then again I am the queen of the typo! Why is that? My sisters say I'm a perfectionist, but I don't think so......

I LOVE the Hudson Area & River. I always wanted to stay at that fancy resort in New Paltz! Someday!
http://www.wnbc.com/news/17413447/detail.htmlNEW YORK -- After nearly half a century, Coney Island's beloved Astroland theme park is shutting its doors.
Only the Cyclone roller coaster and the Wonder Wheel, which are considered city landmarks, will remain of the renowned amusement park in which New Yorkers and those across the tri-state area shared summers and hot dogs for 46 years.
We want you to share your memories.
...Our pic was taken, and we made the NY Daily news....I was the STAR of my Block that day!
That fancy resort is Mohonk. Requires a second mortgage to stay for a night, but I have been there for dinner!I've also spent many days there hiking etc. You can get day passes to enjoy the grounds. I'd like to stay there someday also!

My Mom grew up there, and my Grandmother lived there until 1975. All my Moms side of the family worked in all various spots there. My Irish Nana made Kinishes, which were sold on the Beach (along with Orange Drink in funnel shaped containers). My Grandfather was a chef at 'The Carolinas Italian Restaurant' (on of the 10 best in the World). My Uncle was a Parachute Boy! My Dad was the Weekend Bartender @ the Melody Inn Bar & Grill, right across from Nathans throughout the 50's 60's.
One of my favorite memories is all of us being together for the closing day of SteepleChase (in '65...shhhh). It was a Indoor amuesment park, with the greatest rides & attractions. On the roof, around of the edge of the Building, they had the Steeplechase fake horses, that you RODE. WAY COOL! My aunt took me on the very last time that the ride was operated. Our Horse WON...Our pic was taken, and we made the NY Daily news....I was the STAR of my Block that day!
I spent most of my childhood summers on the Boardwalk. Never ever had to pay for anything, either family or family friends worked everywhere.
This was my WDW, before WDW.![]()
THATS IT!!!!!It is absolutely the most Beautiful hotel I have ever seen. I use to hike around there all the time.
I never even went to Coney Island, and I was so sd to see that it is closing. The end of an era!![]()
Great memories for you though!
