Alex got two calls this morning for job interviews. Both of them are 6 plus hours from home but heck a job is a job at this point.

Busy morning today...Britt had an appt at unemployment to see about them paying for her to go to school, I took the time to run some errands and catch my unemployment claim up. It hiccupped on me and stopped for almost 3 weeks, it should be all fixed now~

Seems all my friends from high school now have what I will call Disney aged kids Reconnecting may become quite fruitful for my TA business...I just gotta keep myself in sales mode and make all my friends happy without being pushy. I hate pushy~

The one I spoke to yesterday said her kids were callnig her the meanest mom ever cause her kids were the "only ones" who have never been to Disneyworld. It is so cool to be able to help her and make the kids happy. If ever I had a built in fortee, it's helping folks get their travel on

Robin - I'm glad you' made it home safely. You arrived one week to early - the weather today & tomorrow is going to be in the low 80's. Our coldest day is going to be Wednesday at 74 - then back up to the high 70's. I'm wearing shorts, baby!

I'm off to meet a friend. I have a ton of stuff to do in the house. Tomorrow, I'm taking the dog to the groomers, meeting friends for lunch and going to another cake decorating class....which means I've got to buy the stuff that I need for the course today and make cakes & frosting!

Sadly it rained buckets all day yesterday, and we had a LOT of flooding all over northeast Ohio! Gads if it's not snowing it's raining... any of you southern dwellers need a houseboy, a cook, etc.!!!

My sister and I were talking about life and stress, we thought back to when the kids were little and we truly didnt have money to spare and times felt so rough...we realize we got thru it, always did, no matter what the issue.

Life is good with the appreciation of what we did have;
love, family and friends.

Still raining here too, I think all of Ohio north of Columbus has becoma a flood zone! Every major river here is above flood stage with more rain tonight.

I saw something interesting today. In a parking lot, there were a ton of seagulls - just sunning themselves. We are 3 miles (as the crow flies) from the St. Johns River and 23 miles from the Atlantic Ocean, so it was kind of neat to see them like we were a beach town....made me think of the ocean.

We have lots of seagulls here on the Hudson River. I saw a bunch of them yesterday, but they were not sunning themselves. They were standing on one of the iced over creeks that empties into the Hudson, enjoying the rain!

We have a ton of seagulls around here too and I'm pretty far away from any seas

All of the lakes are 1/2 hour to an hour away from us but we do have a river that runs through our city.

We had a ton of rain here yesterday.

It's very very windy today but the sun is shining. It's pretty chilly out.

I've got to go to the dentist this afternoon.
