Who feels like a Thread-Killer?

I've read about half of this thread (all I have time for) and I have so many questions. If anyone cares to fill me in, here they are:

~What is meant by the term, "thread killer?"
~What is a "tag" and a "tag fairy"?
~What do the red X's stand for?"

We are threadkillers because whenever we answer a thread, no one else responds to it ever again. It's really kind of disheartening.

Tags are the little quotes or sayings under your name.
You can put one there yourself but sometimes the "tag fairies" put them there. The two things under my name were put there by tag fairies.

The little x's are supposed to be pictures but sometimes they don't show up.

I also find it frustrating when someone asks a specific question and I answer the question. The thread either dies there or it goes on as if I never answered it.

Oh well, it's just an internet bulletin board, I'm not going to let it get to me!

I'm not picky, so where or what we eat is fine with me!

montessori, Thanks for answering my questions. I can understand why it would be frustrating when you post answers to questions and there is no response after that. That is why I always post a reply thanking the person(s) who anwered a question or submitted tips for me. It's only a discussion board, true, but I was raised that when someone gives of their time to help you out, you thank them!

I do remember the moderator ending a thread right after I posted bc. she said the thread was becoming argumentative. OF COURSE that had nothing to do with any of MY posts to that thread Does that make me a "thread demolisher"?

Welcome crazymomof4! What that makes you is a "proactive" thread killer and therefore doubly welcome on this board.

And, Wishydoo, I don't know but "Invisible Thread Killer" sounds like a good Tag to me!
