Hi Sewer! I have at least one fountain Diet Coke from McDonalds EVERY day. I usually eat there once a week. I know I shouldn't, but I just love it.

TW - it sounds like you had a lot of work ahead of you today. I scrubbed the floors and vacuumed - looks good! How did the storage cleaning go? I like your pics. Some of them are really good. I especially like the angle of the juke box options.

DU - did you get a sunburn at the pool today?

Hi Robin & Betsy!

We had our monthly dinner with our friends, but didn't swim - we had quite a thunderstorm here this afternoon. I made and froze all the pot-stickers last night and I wanted to test them after they were frozen....so I tried them on our lawn guy. He liked them a lot. I also tried one and it was pretty good. I also "tweaked" the sauce and it was good before, but it's REALLY good now!

Ya'll take care!

Can I be your lawn guy ...I mean can I be your lawn gal?

After a few days of oppressive heat, we had BIG THUNDERSTORMS last night and today is absolutely beautiful. It will be a bit cooler today (87 instead of 97 with a wild heat index) but the humidity has dropped considerably. Usually it is in the 70s around here this time of year!

Hi everyone! I've been lurking, but no time to post because I had a trial scheduled for this morning and have been doing trial prep. But we settled yesterday. Kid you not we have had this case for 3 years and settled yesterday for the exact settlement I proposed 3 years ago. :headache:

That and TV are the GREATEST inventions of the 20th Century!:thumbsup2

Dance recital is this Saturday.

:scared1: That's not like hanging out with the pool boy is it;)

I love to have an occasional Big Mac too.

I went outside this morning and discovered that my car has some lovely dents in it from the hail storm that we had yesterday.:worried:

Now to decide whether to call the insurance company or just take care of it ourselves. The car is in pretty nice condition and I'd sort of not like to have all those dents (at least 8 fairly large ones) in it.

Good luck at the recital! You will be spectacular!!!!!

Good luck with the dents. That's a tough one!

Hi All!!!!!

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: Kim! I can't believe you posed. I was actually thinking about you this morning! I was getting a package ready to send to my BIL in Chicago (Well Schaumberg) and I started wondering how you are...and if you still want to be my secretary! Stop in more often, I miss you. Tell Rory I said hi too!

Everybody sorry for all the individual posts...I usually multiquote, but I swear the years much be catching up with me! WHen I multiquote, I can't remember what I wanted to say in my replies to everyone! :scared1:

For a pair of glasses.:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: After I fell off the stool :faint: and came too, they told me that with my Insurance the glasses will only cost $500!!!!! Yikes in 3 years they went up BIG TIME!!!!

We had the big boomers here last night too...have to clen up the back later....what a mess it made!

Mornin.

DU, glasses are expensive, that's for sure.

But I look at it this way.

Glasses are the first thing that I put on every morning and the last thing I take off at night. I wear them all day without fail.

If you divide out the price per day per year(s) that you wear them, they really are not all that expensive.:3dglasses

PD what a pain with that trial. All that work for nothing:confused3

Ann, when I was in Michigan last weekend, I saw a couple of Florida vehicles.

Made me think of you and your parents:thumbsup2

Hi everyone!

Kim - SO good to hear from you!

PD - Congrats on your settlement. What a pain in the patootie...but it's nice to know that you were right all along! If you're willing to mow, mulch, trim & spray my lawn once a week, I'll make anything you want!

DU - Welcome to my world (on glasses). My prescription changes every year without fail. I got bifocals when I was 27 and tri focals when I was 40. I hate that I can't wear contacts. As good as they make them, they STILL don't make my prescription!

TW, Sewer & all the rest having Big Mac attacks - I'm SO jealous! Big Mac sauce has anchovies in it and I'm allergic! I LOVE Big Macs! Since I'm allergic to fish & ketchup I'm a major pain at restaurants. When they make my cheeseburger (lettuce & mustard only) the ENTIRE line has to wash their hands & change their gloves to avoid cross contamination. Fortunately, they see me there often enough that they don't mind so much.

As Robin & Betsy - it was a PAIN when we were cruising....there are so many things you have to look out for...OIY!

Well, I have a doctor's appt (check-up) and today is my official play day - so I'm headed to the movies.

That's an excellent way to look at it, Robin....you are SO smart!

I'm not going to make it to Michigan this summer - and I already bought my ticket (naturally, a non-refundable - non-transferrable one!). I don't know if my parents are going to be able to go, either. They are making a recovery, but it is SO slow.

Good Morning TKers,

Well its cooled off here a little...It should be a very nice day...not too muggy.:thumbsup2

I have this and only this day off until we go....So Im going to sit out as much as I can...
Although when Im this close to going to WDW...I normally dont sit for long....Im always thinking of little things to put on my list , or to finish getting together....Im soo pathetic:worried: ...I just CANT relax...:hyper:

Tomorrow, is my normal Thurs. lunch day, and on top of that Im dropping Albert off at the groomers. So he's all spiffy for my DBIL(not that he cares..LOL)It will also be alot cooler for him as Dsis, and DBIL lives in the city, and its always alot hotter in the city.
and then Im going to get my hair cut, and C-O-L-O-R-E-D on Friday....I really hate to spend the money on that right now, but I also hate to show my "natural highlights" :rotfl:

and then theres the weekend...Im ALWAYS busy on the weekends, and Sunday we will drive a hr. back and forth, to pick up the rental, with the girls...and Monday ( Mke has that day off) it all the last min. stuff in the day. Than we will be getting the girls in the evening for a very excited and wild night ...Im sure!:yay: :dance3: :yay:

THAN.....:teeth:

We are off first thing Tuesday morning...:car::yay:

Thats it all in a nutshell...or in my case it will be a NUTHOUSE...LOL

DU,
I think when its hot EVERY pool will have some hoppers if there is no one to kick them out....good thing you have the people to do it...:thumbsup2
As for your sunburn...One word....ALOE;) ...Works great!

Ann,
You have me craving potstickers now....or at least a cup of the sauce...I could drink it...:teeth:
As for MDs....They now have peanutbutter cup McFlurrys....YUM....I have a very hard time passing on those....Mike loved the Oreo ones, but I was safe from them as I can take or leave them....BUT not so the PBCs...and I love MDs Ice cream for some reason...I use to get a cone, which wasnt to bad, on the weight gain, cant say the same for the PBC McFlurrys.....:(

OH ROBIN!,
Wow that must have been some hail!...I think Id see what the insurance co. says..and find out what your deductable is...it may be worth it...
I would hate to have to look at those dents every time I went to my car....

Mine is all scratched by my friends dog jumping up on it every time I come to visit.. :headache: ..
Its getting old anyway, but JEEZE!

KIM!....:wave2:
HIYA....Hows it going?.... Miss you!

Sewer, PD, Brenda, Colleen,

TTFNpaw:

Betsy you must be looking about like this these days ~~~> :bitelip: :goodvibes  :dance3: :woohoo:

:rotfl2: I know that I would be :thumbsup2

Have a great time on your trip.

I'm trying to decide whether I should colour my hair professionally or not.

So far I've only used those home kits but they dont' do that great a job.

I really don't know if I want to start with having to get it done every few weeks so that the roots don't show:confused3

How much does it cost you to get your hair colored??

I was told it was $40.00 here whether it was your whole head or just your roots being done.

As for my car, I might just take it in for an estimate on how much it will cost to fix it and then decide from there whether or not to involve the insurance company.

$40 is a bargain! When Britt and I got ours done it was $60 - $70!

That was mine and Britt's first time using the salon but I'll tell you what...it looks waaay better and it seemed to last longer~

PD, you may be forgetful, I am getting lazy...

if someone's already replied the way I would've - I don't bother - I feel redundant when I repeat stuff that's been said :confused3

Hi Kiminy!!!!!!

I had a phone interview today...took about 45 minutes but I got a really good feeling from this one. I seem to fit the bill perfectly and the pay is absolutely worthy...fingers crossed for me guys~

Betsy...I am totally with you girl!

Be as excited as you want...it's a happy day :woohoo:

I missed this part. Good luck with getting it fixed....what a pain!

TW - good luck with the potential job!

Gonna go to the movies!

I've never colored my hair. I think I ended up with good color genes. My Mom is 73 and still is not completely grey. She still had her brown hair well into her 60s. My Dad was the same way. He died just before his 66th birthday and he still had brown hair...even after going through chemo...no hair loss with that either:confused3. However my hair has always been boring. I want thick beautiful hair. I have blah hair.
