OMG! I am finally done! Everything is in the fridge and assembled. Now all I have to do is transport, set up and do the last minute touches.

I think I'm going to gulp down a diet soda and close my eyes for 20 minutes. Then I'm gonna hit the shower!

Robin - I think Tips is an adorable name! I hope the kids enjoy their camping trip. Is Alex up to it?

I'm sorry I didn't say anything! I DID get my Kindle and it's amazing! I've got 64 books on it right now and I'm currently reading my 3rd. DH has read one and it was all I could do not to RIP it out of his hands! I think he'll be getting one in a year or so. He's not a gadget guy, but he said it was a real pleasure reading with something so light & easy to see.!

But just found all my Moms pills on the floor next to the coach! So now we are gonna have to WATCH her take them every Mornin! This is the 2nd time this week!

A friend of mine came over with a fountain diet soda....this friend IS my official taste tester and an amazing cook - so I assembeled a taste of everything early. She really loved everything. I was surprised - I was afraid that a few things were just going to be so-so...you never can tell. I liked them, but that isn't necessarily an indicator for everyone else.

The desserts (surprisingly) turned out the best. The brownie bites are very unique and my favorite - they were Charlene's favorite, too!

I am re-heating the spinach pine nut tart bites - to give them a crispier texture...they'll be served room temp. I sent a pic of the plate to Robin and asked if she would post it. Pleeeese Robin?!

After getting a taste of real concert photography at Warped Tour last year I am determined to get my foot into the professional door. I've been an amateur concert photog for many many years. I am soooo looking forward to this~

It's in Bethlehem PA and is a great way to spend a day and then top it off with some great music - if anyone wants to go it's totally worthy~The day is free, the concerts are the only ticket cost.

Hi Sewer! Everytime I peel I come back my usual shade of pale....that's why I stay out of the sun - I burn if I pass a high watt light bulb!

Well, I'm back from the reception. It turned out really well - I was amazed at the response regarding the food - and very pleased. I had probably a good third-to-half of the folks there actually tell me that they liked everything and several folks ask if I catered professionally. It felt so nice...kinda like inventing sliced bread, only not as special!

The important thing....SWHNN's DD is now a high-school graduate. She graduated #9 in her class - she's SO smart and beautiful and talented. It was a lovely ceremony. One of their class mates was killed this year in a bus accident and when it would have been her turn to accept her diploma they had everyone stand for a moment of silence *sigh* very moving.

It's late and I've been up since very early and on my feet all day...I'm off to bed.

Really I went to it, and all the virus warnings came poppin up! I tried 2 x...same thing happened both times.

i'll try to go there myself thru the link & see what happens....i've been back from iowa since tuesday afternoon - but it's been a crazy week & now i'm frantically working on getting all the last details done for the trip to Italy...we haven't even begun to pack....something i really need to start working on! in the meantime, i'm making all the folders i need for each student - for copies of passports, credit cards, insurance card, release forms, meal choices, rooming arrangements....yadda yadda yadda...it's a lot of work to take 37 people to a foreign country!!!!

Hi all! I've been keeping up with all of you, just not much time to post!

Hi Brenda! Did you have a good reunion trip? Was everything ok in your neighborhood when you got home? I've been thinking of you!

OMG -the reunion was SOOOOO much fun - i'll post a couple of photos soon...& the fire was 85% contained when i arrived home - within a day they had it 100% contained & today it's basically 'out' - thank you so much for asking. I believe 36 homes were destroyed....that is JUST SOOOO SAD....but again - no fatalaties which is GOOD

Yowsers - now that all looks VERY VERY yummy - way to go Ann - you simply amaze me!!! since you're not for hire , guess i'll go meet with the local Country Club catering dept this week as well as a couple of wineries to discuss DS' grad party options. Our home is big enough but not our backyard so thinking this is a much better idea PLUS i don't have to do the clean up

We are going skeet shooting tomorrow, at my DSs...That should be fun!
I may shoot a few times, But I will mostly watch. There are some fine shots in our family......
