Rose and I really haven't seen each other much lately, it was nice to spend some time with her.

DU What a horrible way to spend a day. Heaven gained a furry angel yesterday...

Betsy, you should be taking care of that cold. Take a lesson from Robin, the cleaning isn't ever gonna be more important than your good health.

I have an interview this am...I doubt if it's gonna be any good. The place I have to go to is known for being run down and crime ridden. I'll go anyway, see what they offer and make sure it's worthy or not.

I KNEW I forgot to say hello to someone! I'm glad you had a good time! Yeah, I'm catering the reception for my sister. It's fairly small - appetizers for 50 and they're taking care of the cake and drinks. Here's the complete menu:

Parmesan Choux Pastry Puffs with Chicken Salad Filling
Chicken Cheese Dome served with Crispy French Toasts
Spinach & Swiss Puff Pastry Swirls
Spinach, Onion and Pine nut Tartlets
Mini Ham & Cheese Sandwiches on Sour Cream Yeast Rolls
Bite-sized Bacon, Onion & Chive Cheese Balls rolled in Toasted Pecans

Cheesecake bites with strawberries
Brownie Bites with Almond Toffee
Oreo Cookie Balls Dipped in Chocolate

Thank goodness, it wasn't where I thought it'd be....
the place was waaay before that

It's for a leasing agent at an apartment complex. They are interviewing all week so I know I won't hear back (or hafta call her ) til Monday.

I've got tons of resumes out there and now that the holiday is over I expect to get a phone call or two. Sent out more apps today and posted about 15 things on ebay over the last two days.

I'm selling the overflow of kayrap we inherited when MIL took off the first time. She liked dust collectors. I hate things that collect dust. So I finally dug em out of the attic, got the pictures of em done and posted them.

I started to catch up on Betsy's pretrippie and OMG! PansQT, you are one heckuva writer! I'm going back over to finish shortly....just wanted to check in on my threadkillers~

She collected Pooh (but I never wound up with those.) It's a shame that I avoid pooh like the plague now. Just Pooh himself. I even found a perfectly good Pooh watch on the ground one day but gave it to Rose cause I would never wear it.

Up-and-at-'em early today. Another round of cooking. Everything I've made before is freezer/refrigerator friendly. Today it's all the other stuff. Tomorrow is "assembly" day for the food and Graduation day for my niece.

DU & TW - I can't PROGRAM computers, but I'm really good with word and excel and not too shabby on Access. Can I come, too? I'll be ya'll's secretary! Either that or I'll open up a cool sandwich stand that offers interesting sandwiches on homemade bread....yeah....I can charge outrageous prices! Ya'll are working nights so nothing's open. I'm gonna be RICH!

Come on up to NJ!!!! I cant program a computer either! In fact thats the ONE thing I'd never done.....they are weird people!
I currently build & configure servers and their perephrials (tapes drives, silos, printers...etc)for Corporations Disaster Recovery's! Which means it has to be done FAST & NOW! Sorta like building a car, with spare parts in 2 hours or less!
Was also a Mainframe Systems Engineer for yeeeeeeears...Thats someone who puts all the software together (like a recipe) and makes it all work together! Sometimes it actually DID WORK too

My commute is 1hr 15mins (off hours) 75 miles each way! BUT I am suppose to ONLY do it 3 nights a week!
