Spent the better part of my work night trying to get to stay at Universal Studios when we are going to WDW.

And I did it.

If I just bought tickets for 2 days @ Universal...with their Express Pass (walk right onto every ride) it would have been $337 for both me & James.
Gotta do EXPRESS pass @ universal in the summer. I know James wants to ride the new Simpson ride at least a dozen times.
This ride will have a 2 hour wait normally!

And I am payin 200 @ night for the Saratoga Spring in WDW (at ap rate)

So that stayin at Saratoga & buying the Universal tickets would of totalled $937.

Sooooooo for 3 nights @ Universals Lowes Portifino, with unlimited passes for us, with Express the total came out to 944.00 (just 7.00 more). And dont have to worry about driving there from WDW for 2 days. Also a new enviornment.


What is weird is that...if I stayed a 4th night the price shot up 450.00!
Also....AAA for the same excat 3 night package was 250.00 MORE!!!!!! ...again

So I booked our last 3 nights there.

Here I am! I've been out all day at my brothers....petting baby goats! I'm such a suburbanite that I've actually never pet one before. They are SO cute!

Hi! Our internet has been wacky the last couple of days and just started working again! DD had her prom last night...talk about making a mommy all misty! Today she had a softball doubleheader at 10 am. 4 of the girls from the team were at the prom and they all made it to the game, but boy are they tired now. My DD is sleeping. They split the ball games!

Ann ~ I think that it is so funny that you have never pet a baby goat before! That is a staple of growing up in my neck of the woods!

Hi all....i've been shopping all day...first up to San Jose to get some things for my trip to iowa this next weekend - & a few things for Italy. Stopped in the Disney store - got ryan some great 'mickey' shorts - they should still fit come Dec - at 6'1" - I HOPE he's done 'growing'!!! Got back to Gilroy - went grocery shopping (uggghhh) then to pick up Ryan's meds (they never have it in stock & we also have to come back the next day). as i'm leaving there - the florist calls to remind me the corsage hasn't been picked up - i totally forgot & they're closing in 30 mins. Oh well - i wasn't far from there. Got home & Ryan carries everything in....then goes & plays xbox...finally at 4 he takes a shower & gets his tux ready (so much easier than a girl huh PD?). He's decided to change into his tux at his friends' Ramses' home - so no photos for me to take. He promised he'd have Ramses' mom take photos (oh i hope they're digital). And of course, he'll get the professional photos of him & Marisa at the Prom. It's all being held over in Santa Cruz at the Seascape Resort; should be a fun night & it's at a spectacular resort! with the weather we've been having - it should even be decent on the coast....not as hot as gilroy (only 92 today)...but nice~

DH just woke up from a nap - i'm watching POTC & he's going to start the BBQ in awhile....have a great wkend all!!!

PS - Ann - i had no idea what a 'kindle' was until i read your thread. Enjoy...DU - sounds like you & James have a great vaca planned FOR SURE!!! Cally - are you out there??? we miss you

okay - i was typing that earlier post i frantically realized that DS left the corsage in the refrigerator....so i drove over towards Watsonville to meet them - thus i got a couple of photos....but just of the two (very handsome) boys...Ry hadn't picked up Marisa yet - which is good - less embarrasment that he forgot her flowers.

DU - i know - i know - Ramses family is hispanic - not egyptian..so i'm not really sure why they named him that....but i've never heard any of the kids tease him in reference to any prophylactics....they just call him Ramses the Great....

guess i probably haven't been on the amazon site since Christmas...??? do ALOT of shopping there during the summer buying & selling DS' school books~

ohh Colleen - that is always the hardest....it wasn't so long ago Jen moved it - but seems ions ago!!! guess it was 8-9 yrs ago...and now in just over a year - Ry will be going away to school....not sure where yet...going to visit Univ of San Diego - San Diego State - UC Davis (near Sacramento) - Fresno State - Univ of Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo & we'll even check SJ State & Univ of Santa Clara (those last two are closest)....

They sound soooooooo much nicer then Kingsboro Community College!!!

However...it was a beautiful school...Brand new Ultra Modern, on the tip of Brooklyn on the Atlantic Ocean! However I had to take a bus to get there................(5 miles away) and a 1 1/2 hour bus ride (had too take 2 buses too)

Dont know how I did it!
