I've not being doing a whole lot today.

Just sort of finishing up that huge pile of laundry that has been piling up since I had that squeaky dryer.

Well too bad cause I'm gonna tell ya anyways

My mother called me tonight and said a man had been in her small shop (trophies and engraving, stuff like that).

They were just making small talk and for some reason this guy says that he knows us (Rick and I) and our business.

He tells my mother....... they have no money problems there.

They've got millions

Neither one of us recognizes this guy's name and if we are really millionaires, I sure wish that guy would tell me where we've put all that money

It is certainly not in MY bank account.

Obviously he has not looked at where we live and the cars we drive

Where do people get these ideas

I think people think that just because you have your own business that you MUST have a ton of money.

Definitely not true, but I'm sure wishing it was.

Now....... off to find the buried treasure

You're not. I home office, so every conversation I have with someone else in our company takes place on the phone. Today I am in the process of rolling out a new retention area for documentation and the submission process that goes with it. Each functional group (Project Managers, Service Delivey Mangers) need to get a walk-thru from me because I issued a mandate last week that the former submission method would no longer be accepted.. don't know what the heck I was thinking with that one.

It just stopped squeaking? Interesting. Our washer's agitator stopped for a second. We were ready to go get another one but decided to try it again and it started working all of a sudden.

Maybe you are on one of those lists where the State or Federal Government owns you a ton of money? Or those ones they post where there's "unclaimed money." The ones I always look at only to discover that I actually do know where all my pitiful accounts are located.
Unclaimed lottery ticket? I know - I have "a very active imagination."

Unfortunately, not unless you want to move to Fergus Falls, MN where the high temperature today was a balmy 3 degrees! They told me today they are expecting Spring to arrive soon, around May or so.

Rick took it apart and put some grease on this little white wheel and THEN it stopped squeaking.
