I remember coming back from our cruise in april & went i tried to signon to our network at the office - i could NOT for the life of me remember my p/w....after years of the same p/w - 10 days of 'magical' bliss had totally wiped it from my memory bank....

I remember clearly coming to check out what was going on with the thread before I left and the first thing I find on the opening DISboard page was this new thread

Kind of shocked me to find a "temporary" Threadkiller thread.

I worried about what was happening with our thread the whole time I was gone

Would the old one back Didn't know what to expect when I got here.

Oh yeah, DU, I had ONE tiny sip of a Bahama Mama for my friend mandymouse, the rest of the time it was a mixture of 1/3 Coke and 2/3 Diet Coke

JOHN UPDATE PLEASE​

John's doing well I got home about a half hour ago, he was sleeping when I left. He DOESN't NEED CASTS!!!

He's got two pins holding each elbow on and wires holding them in. They say he can keep them in there forever unless they try to come out on their own after he heals. If they do, he only needs a local anesthetic to have them removed. He should be able to shower by Sunday. His comment was now he's gonna set off metal detectors

Thankfully, going potty is the only thing he's managed to do by himself. Thank you for the Kiwi detail! I'll be sure to share all of that with DH when he gets home tomorrow. seriously.

Wow Robin. Milk in bags??? That's a new one for me~I'll have to check those out whenever my fam heads up into the great white north. We all intend to visit there in the near future. Are passports a requirement to cross yet?

Cally, keep taking those pictures girl...no pun intended but you really do have a good eye for it.

Hubby's doctor says I deserve an incredible Valentines Day for all that I've done for him the last few days

I really like the ortho docs...and all the staff at the hospital he went to...great great people all around, very friendly, very personable~

I forgot about that. I havent been to Canada since the 80's...and they had milk in bags then!

John is so funny... you know it's really cool to be able to set off metal detectors due to some metal in your body


Aww thanks for the compliment. I love taking pictures only because I love looking back on them and comparing on how much things have changed.

I agree on the milk bags... I've never heard of such a thing.

Today I have a date with one of my classmates from nursing school. No, not that kind of date.

We're going to take her son and my boys to Monkey Joes. I'm not really sure what Monkey Joes is though.
