I also finally registered for school...

Hey Robin, guess what I'm gonna be... :teeth: A NURSE... :goodvibes

Oh well.. I'm happy and ready to start school..... :cheer2:

Pictures of the new hair do please :thumbsup2

Congratulations on your decision to go to school to become a nurse. I'm very proud of you for making that decision.

NOW you know why you took care of E and why it did not work out. It lead you to finally making the decision to go back to school. :)

Good luck in your new field.

We booked first dining, but I did not know how to link??? :boat:

When I booked while onboard I just had to give them Ann and Tom's name and that was enough for them to find the reservation and to link them together.

Our pretty Mischief......

Betsy and Kim, any questions regarding your planning? Got your dining all lined up and Expedition Everest on your list of must sees?
Actually, I do have a question (or two).....about Disney Magical Express, if anyone knows..........how many 'tags' does each person/family get? :confused3

Colleen, for all of us we have a 50s Prime Time dinner and a Chef Mickey's dinner, and for DSIL, Dniece, DD and myself we have a Castle lunch, all reserved already! :yay:

Expedition Everest??? Because it's in AK, none of us may ride this. :guilty: No one is interested in AK, and since Tarzan is gone, I tend to agree.

Also, does anyone here have experience/knowledge of the Grand Gathering Fireworks Voyage? We're doing that. Anyone here golf at WDW? We have a foursome doing Lake Buena Vista (I insisted that someone take a camera and take pictures, as I'll never see it if they don't! ;) )

Robin sent me a TON of park maps - :thanks: , more than enough for the 5 families that are going! :goodvibes And she sent some glo headbands! These will be sooo cool :cool1: on the Fireworks Voyage and any and all fireworks shows we see, and I plan on seeing them all (again). :thumbsup2 And I'm still reviewing the Guidebook that Colleen sent! You should see all the bookmarks I have in there, and it goes with me Everywhere! :teeth:

:disrocks: but TKs RULE! :worship: ::yes:: :thanks:

Hi All

Kim even if you go to AK for a short period just to ride Everest it's worth it!! Also the Lion King show and Bugs Life is great at AK. I recommend a quick morning there, fast pass Everest unless its a short line make the lion king show and ride Everest and Bugs Life. Then on to another park.... :moped:

Cally you go girl!!! Nursing is great! I'll send you a pm. Want pics of the new hair!!

Ann & Mary can't wait till Wed!!

Hello :sunny:

How's everyone's weekend so far??? It's another cloudy day here... It didn't rain yesterday but it looks like it will today ;)

Tink, nice siggie pic!

Robin, your kitties are very cute! I like that top picture. Mischief is very pretty. I like her fur. I see your fishtank in the background. Those are your guppies, right?

Kim, you're not planning on going to AK? :faint: I know a lot of people find AK boring but I would say it's at least worth half a day. There are some cool actractions there. :teeth: We love going to "It's Tough To Be A Bug" and the "Kilimanjaro Safaris" was a lot of fun. Well if you do decide to go make sure to check out those attractions. :thumbsup2

Well we don't really have any real plans for today! I did want to work in the yard but the weather is not cooperating.

We may watch movies. We didn't go to the movies lastnight. We ended up renting 4 movies. Lastnight we watched Lilo and Stich 2~it was cute and funny. We tried watching Zuthura but we didn't finish it. We were so tired and sleepy but we'll finish watching it soon. It did seem like a good movie. Also got Jarhead and The Longest Yard. So we may end up watching movies today/tonight.

ORRRRR I do want to go to the book store. I need to find a study guide for a PSB test I have to take. It's a Health Occupations Aptitude Exam. :yay:

Ahh we'll see..

Robin, I will try to get some pics of the new "do" today. I was looking for some old pics of me with my hair long so I could show before and after pics but I couldn't find any :confused3 Then I remembered that I don't take pictures :lmao: I'll keep looking though there's got to be at least 1!

Well have a good day everyone....

Oh, Cally I like it  It makes you look younger and more flirty, sort of. :teeth: It's beautiful, are you happy with it?

Yes those are my guppies in the tank in the background of the picture. Mischief is very pretty. In the sun her fur shines a nice copper colour, so pretty :goodvibes

Hey I just saw my neighbor all decked out in her Harley gear and ride off with her hubby on their Harleys...They must be going to Atlanta too for the International Mortorcycle Show :scratchin

Robin, I love my hair short like this.. It is so easy to wash and dry. I curled it though so it took up some time but most of the time I'm sure I'll just wash and dry it and go. It's so quick and easy!

Your cabin looks like it's in a good spot to me.

It is right mid ship and almost exactly across from Betsy's (on the other side of the ship).

It's not too far from the elevators, no real undesirable things around it. It's over the Oceaneers Club (kids club 3-7 (?) which shouldn't be any trouble either.

So far your cabin is the only one on that side of the ship, except for Kelly's which is on Deck 7 in the front of the ship on your side.

Yep it is!!!

Hubby has all ready sprinkled the weed and feed on the grass.. Hopefully we'll have a nice green backyard this year! :teeth:

As for the garden area... We're gonna add fresh mulch and flowers around the bushes.. Not sure what kind yet though...

Remember last year I had those flowers and you told me to pull off the dead heads and replant them? Are they suppose to be coming back soon? :rotfl: I'm sorry I'm still learning.. :teeth:

I think I'm also gonna clear an area out in the backyard for just a bunch of different flowers.. that will look nice..

I planted the irises in the backyard and I need to pull a few weeds that have grown around them.... but that's pretty much it.. Ewww I just finished a bunch of laundry.. it's waiting to be folded.. :bitelip:

I use "haltz" for my spring treatment. It greens up the lawn, gets rid of weeds and only needs to be applied once every spring.

The marigolds are a fall flower, they'll start to come up in the next month...

You'll see the leaves first, try not to weed them...do you remember how the leaves were shaped? The flowers will follow in about two months and comtinue to bloom thru september. It may come sooner since you are so much further south, this is a northern timeline ;)

Azalia bushes are nice, they bloom flowers in the spirng and go green for the rest of the summer.

Hydrangia are nice, the color flower you get depends on the acidity or lack of in your soil. They could be pink, white or purple...mine tend to be a light purple.

I also have Hybiscus, they have beautiful full flowers on them and get alot taller than the azalias.

(Azalia's are a short bush, hydrangia are medium and hybiscus tend to be taller.)

:thumbsup2

I like the new do...now if I'd only get the courage up to let someone cut my hair

Sounds like deck 6 is the place to be :teeth:

To link ressies, alls you need is the other cruisers full name. If it's dinner ressies you want linked, first you have to have the same seating, early vs late. I had late dining, we sat at 8pm each night. Early I think is 6pm.

Of our four families that sat together, one dining was wrong-we went to the head waiter and he fixed it immediately.

Happy Saturday people...time to wash the puppy, she's so low to the ground she's needing a bath EVERY weekend :dog:

Kim, I must say that I am in agreement with everyone on the Animal Kingdom Park.

If you are there for a week and have park hopper passes then DO the Animal Kingdom. Even if you just go for the morning as suggested that would be enough.

We love the Safari ride, It's Tough To Be A Bug, Dinosaur is great too. The name escapes me at the minute but the little coaster type thing in Dino land is a lot of fun too. The water raft ride is pretty cool too.

The Lion King show is not to be missed, it is absolutely wonderful. My kids really enjoyed it and still talk about it even.

I've never been on Expedition Everest because it wasn't open yet.

I think you should really put in a few hours there. ::yes::

Dinosaur is and awesome photo op...it's my favorite to get the ride photo from cause you can usually see everybody's face and can fit the whole family in one car...
