Kids had Friday and today off from school... boy, it's been a long weekend!

Hubby doesn't go back to work til Wednesday

DFIL b-day is Thursday and I'm thinking of making a cake for him We're still gonna go out and get a gift for him.


Betsy, I've never done parasailing. Sounds like fun tho.

Ann and I went and saw Nannie McPhee yesterday, a great movie . Today I played with my ipod nano that my DS gave me for V-day!! I even downloaded a bunch of disney picks on it.

So I will add Nannie McPhee to my list of movies to watch!

How nice of your DS to give you a nano! I didnt' know you could put pics on the nano!! Hubby has the video..he has one video on it and is thinking of putting some shows on it. Cool lil things huh I have the mini!

Have you tried listening to any podcast yet? I am subscribed to a few of the disney podcast. They are great!

Dear T-Kers-
It has been a few days since my last post.....

(thought I'd start off like a diary entry, seemed appropriate since many of you post at least daily!)

It is officially FEB VACATION here. Only Mon. morning and I'm already for the kids to go back to school. I know someday I'll wish they never left the house but for now....I just want them to get along for more than 10 minutes a day.

We're headed to a birthday party in a few hours. We got the birthday boy (10y) the cranium game "whonu". Anybody here played it. My DD (17) borrowed her friends game and brought it out for us all to play one day and it was quite fun,....and plays quick so it's not a 4 hr commitment like "life".

Tomorrow we are going to a kids scrapbook workshop, it last about 3 hrs so that should work out well. Tuesday evening I have my weapons class. Suppose to get my nunchucks and bokken so that should be interesting. I think I'm gonna wear my sparring gear so I don't give myself a cuncussion with the nunchucks. Thursday we're hoping to get to Hermon Mt to go tubing but I'm not sure. I'm a little nervous about tubing down a mt.

I guess all in all this week should fly by. If I don't again by Wed. pm, you'll know I really hurt myself with my new weapons.

I don't know if I told you (not checking back that far). DH and I had a bouncy-baby GIRL arrive late Friday night. Yep! Grandchild number 3 is a girl! We're headed out to California in April to distribute kisses. Unfortunately, we're committed up the gump-stump before then!

As for the kitchen I have appointments with 3 different companies this week to come out and take a look and give us estimates and ideas. It will be interesting to see what they come up with.

Sorry U, I am very unskilled when it comes to computer stuff, so I can't help you.

You do more than school...... you do karate and VMK and other things like that. It probably just seems like school is all that you do

I agree. We are declaring the kid, and paying for him, but he will be sleeping in a room already filled with 4 people/his family. ALL parties are going! We have 16 now. Kid-guilt works wonders. I have a GREAT DU Agent and she's gotten us both the ADRs and CRT that we wanted! Golf and the Fireworks voyage are next!

Para-sailing? Don't ask me! And don't suggest it to any of MY family, thank you! I'd be a wreck!
