Good morning all.

I've got to get moving this morning. I should really go to work sometime

The local chapter of the Heart and Stroke Foundation is holding a soup lunch today. You pay your money and you have soup from all the different restaurants in town served by up so-called local celebrities ~~ you know~~ the fire chief, the mayor, heck, I don't even know who else nor do I really care

The soup's usually good though and you can go back and try as many kinds as you like and it changes like every 5 minutes because it is well attended.

So, we've got to eat right and it's for a good cause, so I guess to the soup lunch we go today

Good Morning all!

Well we have a few more inches of snow this morning and it will be snowing all day....Soooo Im not going anywhere today.... Ill miss my Thurs. lunch date....and I was going to splurge because Ive lost 2 more lbs.....Oh well Ill just have to get DH to take me to dinner sometime this week to make up for my lost lunch

Anyway....How is everyone this fine snowy morn????

Ill be here checking in every now and then...
Im working on my WDW planning...You know dinner res. which parks which days...etc....etc. Fun fun FUN!

anyone ever tried this before???

Or we were wondering if we could just book the room and ask for the dining package.. but we don't know if that is possible...

Frustrating isn't it

Oh I was going to tell you guys about the soup lunch. I had my soup served by the chief of police ooooo, I was so excited..... NOT

Anyways it was a madhouse there, so we went to sit in a little side room they had set up with tables for the overflow. Very peaceful and quiet there.

After a bit in comes my grades 5 and 6 teacher, Mrs. Smith. She comes over my table (I'm the only one there with about 8 empty chairs) and she says. Hi Robin, can we sit at this table with you Amazing isn't it. She taught me way back in 1965-67 and she still remembers my name and recognizes me.

So she and her group sat at our table. I had a good time talking to her and catching up on things with her. A nice surprise.

I suppose those kinds of things happen when you still live in the same town that you grew up in We lived an hour away for 7 years when we first got married but moved back to raise our kids in a smaller town versus the bigger city we were living in.

Oh yes and to be served by the chief of police.... exciting The Town Crier was there. He is an award winning Town Crier at least. He's kind of neat, dresses the part with the big fancy hat and cape too.
