I hope everyone had a Happy Christmas! The food is decent for the adults but the kids say it has a bit to be desired...actually Stef said it "sucks"...sorry for the bluntness. If you are into crablegs and lobster and creme brule it's good, if you're looking for a good burger...

My vegetarian Brittany found that they do have good veggie burgers tho

I'm trying to catch up before dinner...

Hi TW! I got the PM...thanks! I've not finished catching-up, but I have to say....I'm into Creme Brulee and all that other "foofie" stuff! Tinknutt is seriously into crablegs! I hope the food is better as time goes by! Thanks for the report!

Betsy - P&PD for S&P. I hope it ends up being something that can be taken care of quickly. I know how stressful it can be when a furry friend is sick - they can't TELL you what wrong.

Kim - P&PD for your arm! I use a secretarial chair that has arms that are (luckily) the exact height I need for the mouse. It makes a HUGE difference to me....I prefer the secretarial chairs.

Cruisin - you are SO close to leaving for WDW! It was beautiful today - sunny and cool. I hope they have great weather for you the whole time you're out!

Colleen - how's the cruise going? Can't wait to see your pics!

BP - Ozzy might have been a boring Christmas shopper, but DH is NOT! We don't spend a lot at Christmas time - we prefer to enjoy the things money can't buy...but he did good with our budget!

Uraken - hope you enjoy the books - in my opinion - there's nothing better than a big book to read.

Well, tomorrow DH & I are going to Epcot for the day, then we're going to see our DD, DSIL & DGS for a day. We're looking forward to it. I hope DH is okay - because he FELL out of the attic yesterday! We were putting up Christmas decorations and he started to climb down the attic steps and....oops! He managed to grab the framework of the attic floor rather than hit the deck, but he wrenched his arm. Fortunately, it's not dislocated, but he's really sore! I'll be taking Tylenol and an Icy-hot patch with us!

uraken.... don't worry about the thick book. You only read it a page at a time, don't you If it's a good book, you will get so into it that you will be sad to see it end, no matter how thick it is.

Hey Ann, do you have any website with Florida weather predictions that you feel are anywhere near accurate . I've been tracking the weather with accuweather but they sometimes jump 10 degrees or more from day to day, not always in the direction that I want to see those temperatures going either.

If you have somewhere else that you look for your weather reports, can you let me know, please.

Hey....I think I told you that when we saw Santa
at the Very Merry Christmas party....I yelled up at him that I took his advice from when I saw him at the Crawford County fair....

That I was good!

and he yelled back: "that's what I've heard"....

well now....being good does pay off....

I forg t to tell you....the last present under the tree was: To Papa from Santa

with Sammie on my lap and all the GK's surrounding me....

I unwrapped......

MY PUMPKIN BARBIE!!

a snazzy Barbie in an range crocheted dress with a jack-o-lantern crocheted face....

a green crocheted shawl....

and an orange crocheted hat with a green stem-like top....

there were some amazed kids I'll tell you....

note: not amazed I was good....

amazed i was THAT good to have Santa and his elves make and bring me the ONLY Pumpkin Barbie in the whole wide world....

Okay, then I won't look for the magazine tomorrow. But I will have to make myself a note to look for it when I get back from vacation, or I might miss it. And I really want to see what it looks like. Not that I'm planning on crocheting it or anything I don't think I'm talented enough for that.

It sounds like you better guard your Barbie very carefully or she will be disappearing on you. You might spend all year playing, find the Barbie

We're having a loverly time here, I am missing you all...

I'll try to bring back some warm weather when we return to FL, I hope to check in again later tonight-we are only docked at St Thomas to 4:30 today-yesterday westayed til 7:30...

gotta go drag my girls outta bed now to head onto st thomas, I got them up for customs and they went right back to bed...they've had some very late nights all this week.

They are actually enjoying the ship so much they aren't interested in the islands.

They are looking forward to Castaway Cay tho...we have a banana boat ride and glass bottom boat tour booked. They've heard so much about that island they cannot wait to get there

Hi All

DS got in around 12:30pm, safe and sound. Then we dug into the presents. DS1 got me some tanzenite and diamond earrings DS2 got me a gold cross, some books and salt & pepper grinder and food chopper . They are both very generous!!! DH and Santa got me a D&B purse, sonicaire toothbrush, some DVD's, gold hoop earrings, a spa robe, and a SPA Gift Certificate. So I must have been very good this year!!

Betsy, any news on S&P?
