Sometimes I think of him as a horse though. Sultan Pepper IS so heavy. As big as he is, he thinks of himself as a lap dog!

I HAVE to go shopping today....I still have to finish up with my DH...been so busy getting for all the DGKs that I havent had time for DH.....

OH and I havent told ya all...DH and I already got a present for Cristmas....well it wont get here for Christmas...but its on its way... ..
My eldest DS and DDIL are expecting ANOTHER child sometime in Aug...I expect ...That will be DGC no. eleven and their sixth... ...

Its going to be a busy week for us here....
Brittanys concert is tonight at the high school...then tomorrow night Julias lessons, then on Thurs. Ambers, Victoria and Elizabeth have their concert at the middle school....
Friday is food shopping for Christmas....
We have all the kids over for Christmas breakfast, and present opening...then they all take off to their other families...and My DSis and DBIL will come over for Christmas dinner in the PM.....by Christmas evening we will be on our own..by then Ill probably be snoozin in the chair

HEY!....Colleen!....Have a great trip!...take LOTS of pictures, so we all can see what to look forward to on our cruise!...Be safe!

I just got home from all my shopping...

Not only are people going crazy present shopping.. people are going crazy food shopping!!!

I'm so glad to have gotten that out of the way....now I can relax

Good Afternoon Thread Killers & Lurkers Alike!

WELL NOW!

Guess who popped into a local wally-world and got in trouble?

WELL NOW! I ain't saying who!

but...I will tell you what happened....

seems there's this guy....who doesn't really like to shop much....

HE HATES MALLS! (well....not that he actually hates them....he just gets lost in them....gets bored....juggles stuff....taunts the Security guys because of their snazzy uniforms...you know...the blue shirt with white letters "SECURITY" )

so anyway...he goes in and there's a greeter trying to foist a cart on him...."I don't want or need a cart thank you very much" says he...

"sure ya do" says the greeter....

"a-nope...no i don't" he says...

after that minor debate...the guy starts to walk into the store and the greeter says "Happy Holidays"'

the guy responds "Merry Christmass...to you and yours" in return.....

the greeter smiles...and says "Thanks...it was nice to hear you say that... "

"well say it your own self" says I...i mean he....

"can't....corporate policy" says the greeter....

politely...the guy says "that's a load of horse shazbott"

so he says Merry Christmas " to every employee...I mean...associate he sees....

well now.....what was thought to be a quick in the store/out the store foray became a mission...

seems the guy started thinking he was being watched....every ailse he went down...and every time he started looking at an item...some managers and/or assistant managers seemed to be hovering nearby.....

sooooooooo....the guy perused and browsed in every aisle of every department...including the food section of the super center....

and guess what?

uh oh....you'd have to know this guy to know the answer....

so I'll tell you....

he got bored

and lo & behold.....and much to his delight....

at the EXACT second he got bored.....he found himself in the fruit and produce section....

surrounded by apples!

well now....apples + bored = juggling <~~~ EVERYBODY knows THAT!!!!!!!!!!

sooooooooooo......this guy grabs 3 apples....nice ones too....

and as he starts to juggle.... he sings:

We wish you a Merry Christmas....

we wish you as Merry Christmas....

we wish you a Merry Christmas....

and a Happy New Year...

about this time.....some candidate for employyee of the month comes up to him and says "you buying those apples?"

"a-nope.... I've seen better juggling apples at the Quality Market for a third less thank you very much...besides...I don't have a cart to put them in" says the guy...."

"I can get you a cart" the candidate for next years Christmas....uhmmmm...Happy Holiday bonus says....

so he goes to get a cart....leaving the guy unattended.....

and still bored.....

so the guy looks around....

ONIONS!

soooooooo......he goes asnd starts juggling some onions....nice ones too.....

still singing his song....

and he sees the candidate for an employees parking space barreling basck towards him pushing a cart....

sooooooooooooo.....he takes his show on the road....so to speak....

still juggling and singing.....he waltzes through the wal-mart.....

does a full circuit.....and ends up back in the fruit & produce department....where he promptly places the onions back in the bin....

whereupon....the candidate for the role of Ebeneezer Scrooge tells him he MUST now buy those apples and onions the guy was juggling!

politely....the guy tells the candidate for coal and onions in his Christmas....uhmmm....Happy Holidays stocking....that he is full of horse shazbott....

and the guy gets told that Security will be called! AND the police!

OOOOOH......I'm shaking!

sooooooooooooooo...the guy informs the candidate for the Jerry Springer show....

"OK! I'll be right over there ~~~~>"

and then....the guy stands in area between the outer sliding door and the inner sliding door wishing ALL who entered or left a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a Peaceful and Prosperous New Year!"

the guy left...without being approached by Security OR the police........

when the greeter came out and said his shift was over and thanked the guy for the most fun he's had in the store since he got hired.....

alas.....the guy still has some shopping to do....

but boy!

did he have fun!

ZJO Threadkillers! Not a CHANCE that I can catch up! I've been busy. I've had 2 straight Mondays and tomorrow's my Thursday. Tinknutt will probably know what I mean...

I've had two hectic days. 6" of rain in Northern Florida and all the pools that weren't shot caved in, we even had a pool that wasn't completed over-flow and flood a yard! Needless to say it's been busy!

Tomorrow is my scheduling day so we can leave early on Friday and the schedules can get out on Thursday.

Anyway, between that - I burnt a batch of fresh roasted pecans....I could just cry over that one!

Busy, but fun here. TW - can't wait to see you. I think if we're going to dinner on Thursday, we should open afterwards...sound about right to you?

Gotta run...5:30 comes around pretty early! Miss you!
