My dad is hanging outside chritmas lights and i am doing to usuall sunday afternoon activities....DISing. So yes glad to hear all parties were successful! (4:55?!? :earseek: wow...what party animals!!!!)

So today i have an audition....at 6:15 (why not earlier??!) Im singing Chim Chim Cheree from mary poppins (julie andrews is my idol) The show is Aladdin JR! Yay!! a disney show..im a few step closers to my dream!! (being Belle on Broadway!) Wish me luck...i have voice practice for 2hrs! thats a record for me! See you all tonight probably!

Hope your audition is going well... :wizard:

ZJO Threadkillers! This will be a short post, but I had to stop in and say hello!

Belle - Good luck with your audition. Sounds like you have an awesome voice with auditions and professional ambitions! Lots-o-pixie dust to you! I'm strictly an amature singer - my sisters and I are karaoke goddesses....welcome!

Robin - I've not completed my shopping yet, but I FINALLY finished with the Christmas decorations!

Tkerbelle - Sounds like the party was a success! All that stress.....I know how you feel, I "spaz" as my DH says before any entertaining!

Cally - exactly what kind of pancakes DID you make? I decided that Tuesday I want French Toast with low-carb bread and sugar free syrup....how's that for specific? Oh....French Toast just isn't french toast without peanut butter. Pancakes for that matter....you should try it!

DalPal - how'd the tree choppin' go? I bet it was wonderful! Hope you're having a fun time decorating!

Tinknutt - I had such a good time last night! The dancing was great and Santa really rocked! I framed the pic of DH and I...it's on the mantle. Thanks for the visit at b'fast and this afternoon! The tree looks really cute - you'll have to see it now that it's done!

TW - I heard from a fairy (maybe a tag fairy) that your SS gift was NOT shipped to your house, but a wee bit further south! Looking forward to the 22nd!

Kim - how was the birthday party? How are you doing with all that snow? It was chilly, windy and grey here today (yuck!) It's not even Christmas and I'm already tired of the cold - and I live in Florida!

Well, I'm gonna scoot for now. If I forgot anyone I'm sorry - I didn't write anything down, I'm just so pleased that the tree is up. For some reason this year, I've been bah-humbug about putting it up. It's lovely and I'm glad I took the time to do it....I think working full time has something to do with it - I'm greedy about my time! I'm off to watch the season finale of Survivor!

Ta-ta!

I usually just make pancakes with Bisquick... But the kids and I were craving some pancakes and I didnt have any so I decided to just experiment with flour, eggs, and milk...

The first few batches were.. Blahhhhh :crazy2: The boys were my taste testers and it was just so funny to watch their faces as they tasted. At first they tried to lie to me... Sooo cute.. I guess they didnt want to hurt my feelings... :teeth:

"mmmm mama, it's good!" ***turns head and makes :crazy2: face ***

When they saw that I didnt like it either they decided it was ok to tell the truth...that it really was gross.. :rotfl:

After a few batches we finally got it down and had some yummy pancakes

I know I could of just looked up a recipe on line but it was so much fun having them tell me what I should and shouldnt add...

P.S. Dont use a lot of baking soda! :scared:

I never had french toast with peanut butter.. sounds interesting.. Might have to try it..

I was feeling kind of bah-humbug about decorating and getting the tree up too..but once I did it, I was glad I did...and I enjoy looking at the tree and all the decor.. :cheer2:

Well anyways... I'm watching Survivor tonight too! 3 whole hours! 10 mins!!!!!! :moped:

back from the auditon...wow may i just say one of the most interesting of my life!

so i fill out the paper work get called back...talk to the directors, give my music in to the person when all of the sudden the guy says "ummm the CD wont work..." so they decide to use the over head system that they use for shows. It takes like 5 mins...and i stand there poised and ready. It comes on and im almost to the end when this lady comes running in making the "cut" sign...then i finished. Fast foward a few minutes when im talking to two girls...and one says "hey what song did you sing" and i of course say "chim chimm cheree" she screams and yells "omg that was AMAZING!!! That was the greatest ive ever heard!!!!!" needless to say i was in shock nobody is supposed to hear your song..its all sound proof!!!!! (i said thanks too)

Turns out..the mics were live from the last show and my voice was broadcast THROUGH THE ENTIRE THEATER AND BUILDING! :earseek: :earseek: :earseek: so everybody heared me....then we did a dance combo (all lyrical and hip hop neither of which i have danced but i was fine w/ the lyrical) it was kinda hard......

in the end i ended up with a call back for tomorrow at 630!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i cant wait....i dont think ill get through SNL reheral!!!!!!

Good Morning everyone!

Well it has been a full weekend!...Fri. we got snowed in ...so DH took the day off and we spent the morning shoveling our driveway(its very long and the snowblower is on the fritz :guilty: )then I finished decorating the house....Sat. we got our tree in the afternoon, and then went shopping while it relaxed in the house....then my DSis came over in the PM and helped us decorate it....Its a small tree this year. I just dont need a great big one..its always harder to deal with...putting up AND taking down....This one is a good size...Im happy with it... :teeth:

Then we had all the girls yesterday like normal...we watched "Christmas with the Kranks"...It was cute....the girls liked it...and I made a big pot of chilli for supper...kind of a lunch/dinner...because it got so late after the movie... ;)

I have a couple of pictures of the tree, but they dont do it justice.....(Ill see if I can take a better one soon)...We just bought the fiberoptic balls that you cant miss on the tree...I dont know if they are too big to me or not....everyone else seems to like them though :confused3 ....Hey its mostly for the kids anyway! :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsgirl: etc. :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy: etc. :teeth:

Here are the pictures:

Hi Tkers

I have had a nice day so far....and it will continue :teeth: . First I slept in...(always wonderful), then I was picked up by DMom to do a bit of shopping with her....(I ended up buying more than her, and I thought I was along for the ride) :rotfl: , and this afternoon I'm going to the movies with Ann :Pinkbounc to see Narnia (Lion, Witch & Wardrobe).

Belle of the Ball, Congrats on the Audition, and Break a leg today!!

Betsy, love the tree very nice....not sure about the book.

Cally pancake adventure sounds like fun, in regards to the peanut butter, we are a peanut butter loving family (can put it on almost anything), but the sweet (syrup) and salty is great together!! :earboy2:

Bet BP is having a great time in WDW!! :sunny:

Hi Robin how are you this morning? Snowed in? :cold:

Tkerbell, still haven't gotten a report on that party yet....still recovering? ;)

Hi Kim, how are you? Busy I'm sure with all the seasons activities.

Any decision on the opening of SS??? :Pinkbounc

Sorry Uraken, don't do VMK...

Chat with you all later :grouphug:

Hi everyone - lurking at lunch and VERY busy!

uraken - don't vmk...have enough trouble keeping up with the disboards!

Belle - congrats on your audition.

Betsy - tree looks great. I think the book is one of the unofficial guides to WDW...am I right?

tinknutt - looking forward to this evening!

Gotta scoot!
