Hi there Cally, long time no see. Glad to hear from you again, I've been wondering how you've been doing.

Here is the price for January 7, 2007 4 night cruise on the Disney Wonder, 2 adults, 2 children (I picked ages 6 and 8, won't make too much difference if I'm out by a year or so) this is the price for a Category 12, the lowest cabin available (which is what we usually book when we go)

Stateroom One Price: $1,696.00
Government Taxes & Fees: $134.52
$1,830.52

Stateroom One
Breakdown Guest 1 (Adult): $532.63
Guest 2 (Adult): $532.63
Guest 3 (Child): $382.63
Guest 4 (Child): $382.63

Total Price: $1,830.52
Deposit (due now): $800.00
Final Payment (due October 24, 2006): $1,030.52

If you want a higher priced cabin with a window or a verandah, of course the price will go up accordingly.

So the total for your family (all four of you) to go on that cruise Jan7/07 in a Cat 12 cabin will be $1830.52.

Hope this helps, if not let me know and I will try to help you some more to figure it out.

Oh wow thanks so much for the breakdown!! I really appreciate ... It doesnt seem too bad... I think we can manage that...

but one more question...once you pay all that does that cover food and stuff?

But I've been good... No job... dont think I can get one just yet... Long story but I am still starting school soon :cheer2:

That price covers.............

your room,

all meals on board (except there is a 10 per person extra charge for Palo, an adult only restaurant, which is totally optional), including 24 hour a day room service and snack bars with pizza, burgers, chicken fingers, icecream etc.

all non-alcoholic beverages, such as coffee, tea, lemonade, fruit punch, sodas etc in the dining rooms and at the drink station on deck. (you pay for all alcoholic drinks AND sodas from room service or at the bars)

all onboard entertainment, including kids clubs, theaters, nightclubs etc (excluding the arcade)

You pay extra for any shore excursions you book, items purchased in the stores, the arcade, tips for your room steward and dining room staff, alcohol, photos taken by the ships photographers and probably a few other things. And you have to get yourself to the port and back.

So you pay the cruise price and you really don't have to pay another penny once you get onboard for anything (except the gratuities for your servers). The choice is totally yours as to how much or how little you spend on board.

Hiya Robin,
Hows your day going?
Ive been converting an audio book into mp3s so I can listen to it, while I work on my wreaths...

Well, let's see now.

I've been shopping, took my kids out for lunch, did some errands.

Made food, did some DISing, running the washing machine (Rick has tried to fix the dryer again, we'll see ;) )

Now I'm going to clean up the kitchen , make tea and :confused3 I should exercise.

I have been starving all day today. Do you ever have those days when you can't seem to get filled up :earboy2:

Yesterday!

 Hi Cally! Please come back soon, you're really missed here, and we thought we lost you for good!

Good day today!!! :goodvibes My boss said to take tomorrow off :cool1: - don't have to tell me twice ;) 5 day weekend!!! - and he gave me a Cmas bonus :jumping1: - CASH!!! :teeth: I have the best boss and working arrangement. :worship: When I said that to our receptionist, I told her I'd deny saying it if she repeated it! :rotfl: J/K, I tell him all the time how lucky I am, and how other moms are VERY jealous of me. Last week, I was telling him about Matt working 6 days straight and working more hours than me. He said EVERYONE works more hours than me!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Then, the mood crasher. Get this....a mom drops off her DS at school today, and says her DD is home with the flu (Kelly's classmate) and that her DD didn't want her friends to get sick. I told the Mom to thank her DD for us. Nice right? Get this! Kelly tells me that said girl SHOWED UP a little later, but couldn't make it through lunch.  WHAT the SNAP was this mother thinking?! Oh, that's right, SHE WASN'T!!!! I was livid, I am livid. I called another mom to tell her of this, as we had talked after school about being grateful that she kept her DD home for ONCE, and then I hear this! This is the mom who brought her DD to the softball game, wait, I mean CARRIED, literally carried, to the softball game over the summer, and while her DD refused to bat or play the field, near the end of the game, she MADE her DD go out on the field, for pictures or video, or God knows what, and the girl proceeds to vomit (I have it on tape :crazy2: ) and rather than take her OUT, the parents left her in until she vomited AGAIN!!! :crazy2:  While I feel soooo bad for this girl, I just wanna SMACK this mom!

Vent over, until tomorrow when I talk to the teacher, and if necessary, the principal. Thank you, that feels better. ;)

Sorry Cally, you can NOT have my job! :rotfl: ;)

Hope the outlaw thing works out. {{HUGS}} I've been a party to that kinda situation, and it's never pleasant for anyone. I mean, do people really want to be unpleasant on purpose?? :confused3 I won't say I divorced over that, but it sure didn't help. :( This time, I LOVE my in-laws, and I'm missing them deeply, especially since DMIL passed away last Oct. I'm just bummed about missing ALL of them. Quite different than the first time. Best wishes, sincerely. :goodvibes We're still here for you, as you can see. :3dglasses

Good Morning Threadkillers.....I guess I should say.....ZJO!

Sorry I missed all the action yesterday!

Cally - I hope you can join the threadkillers cruise! I'm so excited I feel like Bernie-Pee-Man!

Kim - sorry your DD was exposed to the heebie-jeebies. I try to be careful about that....but I did go to work one day with 100.5 temp.....but only to wait for a doc appt!

Hiya DalPal! I have to say the tag fairy did not come visit the threadkillers thread..... I posted here about my dream and then someone wrote a thread about selling their tags on e-bay, so I told them my dream, too. I think it might have happened there. However, I told the threadkillers FIRST....so maybe the tag fairy double checked!

Cruisin - not only can we spill on this thread, but we get the BEST cruise info! I'm SO anxious for you to book! Heck I'm anxious for everyone to book!

Where IS BrerPapa? He's gotta spill about that package! Where's Ophie & TZM? (notice they are always missing at the same time? Hmmmm). Is TW on a vacation again?

Well, tinknutt and I had a great time last night. Harry Potter was a good movie. Dark and more sinister than the others, but I really enjoyed it. Then we picked up a little something for my DH for Christmas. I'm always glad to take her with me on these things. She checks them out and compares. Me, I just pick it up and take it to the register! She also made NINE pies for the family dinner tomorrow - how cool is that?

I've got to get crackin'....time for work! DD, DSIL and DGS are arriving bright and early Thanksgiving morning so I've got stuff to do.

Morning all, not really a good one but morning none the less ;)

I was supposed to go to the grocery store today but I feel kinda yucky, so I'm not going to do that.

Ann, you didn't send your illness up here to me did you :confused3 Liz was not feeling well last week, so maybe I'm getting what she had

It's way too cold here :cold: :earboy2:

The garden doors on the back of the house are frozen shut, both sides :sad2: Usually only one side freezes and we can still open the other but this time they are both frozen and so early in the season too. Hopefully it will warm up a bit and they will thaw out.

Last night Mischief wanted me to let her in the house but I couldn't because the door was frozen, right :confused3 . So I think, I'll go to the front door and call her and maybe she'll hear me from the back and come around.

I go to the front door, open it to call her and she was already waiting there for me :rotfl: :rotfl: Who says cats are stupid :rotfl2: :rotfl2: She saw me head for the front door through the back door and high-tailed it around the front so fast she beat me there.

Good Morning!

Its COLD here today! :cold:

Well my deadline is coming FAST so Ill be working on my wreaths and centerpieces today....
and when Im not doing that, Ill be cleaning .....
I have a confession to make Im NOT cooking this Thanksgiving  ....
Ill only be having my DSis's and My DBIL...and my mother so...DH and I decided to order dinner from Wegmans... :teeth: ...Its the whole dinner all ready to just heat up.....That way I can finish my wreaths and still be able to enjoy Thanksgiving... ;)
So later today we go pick up our dinner for tomorrow.... :teeth:
So its going to be a very busy day today ....but not the normal Thanksgiving busy :rotfl:

TN!....9! pies?....YOU have been normal Thanksgiving busy! :rotfl2: ..

Have a great day ladies!...(and BP or TZM also...if they show up) ;)

Everyone ready for Thanksgiving???

Well I had my Thanksgiving dinner yesterday... Ughhhh I wasnt going to get into it....but to make a long story short.... The "out" laws decided to celebrate it yesterday and at MINE house (btw, hubby is deployed) because their neice was coming in to spend the day! But just part of the reason why I'm so  at them is because they havent called or visited in MONTHS and then all of a sudden they tell me I'm hosting Thanksgiving....

after I tell them I didnt feel like hosting this year with hubby gone and everything they say OK....

THENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN find out on MONDAY night... "surprise surprise since you dont want to do Thanksgiving then we'll just come on Tuesday night and you can host it then" ***???? ughhh They think it's not really Thanksgiving if we do it a few days earlier... But of course, I had to buy everything ..including the TURKEY!!!

but anyways... yea, i had Thanksgiving yesterday

Well...I guess I'll just be eating Thanksgiving left overs tomorrow :teeth:

And I guess it will be another 6 months before I hear from the "out" laws again... unless they need something then I will hear from them sooner

Hi Cally.

Sorry to hear about your family troubles, it's always something isn't it :sad2:

You should have just told them you were going out and then took the boys off to McDonald's or something for the night.

You got a huge meal together on a few hours notice? You must be superwoman :smooth:

I guess I just must have had morning sickness because by noon I felt pretty much back to normal again ;) I still didn't go to the grocery store though, I'm saving that fun for tomorrow ;)
