Went to the gym with DH and now we are off to the store for new tennis shoes. Need a new pair to get worn in before WDW.

Ann, we need to discuss this weekend.

Betsy, I hope everyone makes the cruise!! But like I said, will probably be going alone.

Taking a break from fighting with the people. Calls and emails into lots of places that I'm waiting to have returned.

Also got news this morning that my mom's hospital (she's an RN) has notices up saying that people should start looking into cancelling/rescheduling any committments they have within the next few months because a lot of them will be loaned to the hurricane relief effort. So they had me cancel their hotel reservations for mid-Oct when she and her bf (odd) were going to come visit for F&W.

Yes: I have as many Disney movies as you guys probably do-trying to convert everything to DVD from VHS.

TN & Ann: Have a great time at WDW, we'll be thinking about'cha I'm sure. I still have another month before I get to go back

Robin: My biggest issue with DH and DS is all the wrestling they do in my livingroom! My DH is best at being a kid with the kids. I take care of the important stuff-tuition, school, transportation - he gets the easy stuff, camping, amusement parks, wrestling...we're actually a good balance for each other.

Hiya Kim! Can you believe your son is gonna be in college by this time next year!?!?! Me either with DD...I'm sending her application to Philadelphia Art Institute soon and ordered her senior portrait package this week. It's all happening so fast.

It's weird that mom has a boyfriend. I don't really know how to refer to him. I mean... he's not a boy, you know? He's a really nice guy, great for her and really nice to me, my brother, and my brother's fiance.

But speaking of Disney movie collections... you guys should see TZM's collection. It's HUGE! Made it easy to find something to watch when the cable was out.

Btw... would anyone like a Fairy Godmailer card sent to them this weekend? (Within reason of course... I am going to have to buy gas to get there.)

My Mom was a single Mom almost all my life, and she's the only one...I still call my MIL by her first name.

I call my FIL Dad out of respect, and as I said, I only started doing that since he moved in with us.

Hi gals Im back....
I was very good and only got a side salad today......not much fun...but good!

YES ...Colleen!....Two weeks! .....Im really looking forward to it...

There was a bad car crash last Mon.(didnt know it at the time)right down the road from us....they deverted my DH going to work....found out yesterday that the guy driving flipped his car over a guardrail ...he was wedged between two trees way down the hill....car on fire and no one could get close enough to put it out.....the guy was burned alive....yelling for the people to get him out...the owner of the shop just down the road, was there..and said it was awful..not being able to do anything to help the person.

Life is really a gift isnt it.....I feel so sad for people like that and those in the gulf states......But then I feel so lucky to have what I do....

On a happier note!....It IS beautiful today ...AND its suppose to be beautiful all weekend...
What is everyones plans for our Labor day weekend???...
We dont have anything planned really ...just going to enjoy some quiet time....

Well got to go get some things put away and go pick MORE tomatoes ....

I couldn't even imagine the horror~

We have like 8 tomato plants all blooming red right now!

And Basil taking over the center and my crepe myrtle is blooming again
I think I like my crepe myrtle best cause it's like my birthday flower-always looks it's best around my birthday

We've got sunflowers and peaches and sweet peppers and hot ones too!

I should get out back this weekend and take more pics.

DalPal - the sauce sounds yummmmmmy! The deck sounds decadent! The salad sounds.....healthy! I'm so sorry to hear about the wreck - that poor man.

TW - Glad you're interested in a cruise! If we can all make it - it would be an AWESOME time....don't you think?

Kim - I know I'll probably be asleep tonight when you come on....but....HI! It looks like you, robin and tinknutt had a good time last night!

Well, I had an interesting day today. I spent the afternoon learning how to do the subcontractors scheduling, which will be part of my new job - if that promotion ever goes through. It's looking more and more likely!
