A mini vacation to get ready for the real vacation.. What a great idea!!!

If we went to PA would we be able to meet up or will you be on your vacation? It would be July 20-23 that we would be up there. It doesn't look like it will happen but I was just curious.

Actually, that would be good!

We leave on July 30th.

~Make sure you let me know if you will make it up~

We could do the beach, or sesame place, or hershey park...let me know

I would even consider an extra day off so we could get together~!

hmmm.. I'm thinking.. because it's been so long. But I think so .. Yes I have!!!

I've also spent like the same amout of time on the phone just listening to the other person breath.. because we didn't want to hang up.. That would be with Roger

How's the weather today???

Temperature here is 91º but really feels like 104º

I went out to the lake to visit Alex's girlfriend for lunch today. She is teaching canoeing at the yacht club for the summer. Yacht club is kind of a misconception because it is not one of those huge rich marina places, just a little place on Rondeau Bay which is off of Lake Erie

It is located inside one of our Provincial Parks. We had burgers at the little Park Store, they were actually very very good.

It was in the 90's today and we were in the pool. It's starting to rain right now though so we had to come in.

Yes it is...

NC has spoiled me, I really don't care for the Jersey Shore anymore because of it.

As opposed to here, the beaches are free, clean, I can take my beer or fireworks or dog with me and it's never been crowded. I can play frisbee or football or frisbee football and not get in trouble for it...

I do go to a place here called Island Beach State park, it's not free, it's crowded but it is clean and has bath houses.

I made it to 3 of the lighthouses...I've climbed Currituck and visited Bodie (we stay right near it) and visited Cape Hatteras (right after the move so it was still closed.)

This is Bodie-pronounced body;

Legend says there when pirates got ahold of some ships the way the current flowed the bodies would end up in the canal behind the lighthouse.

yeah, I know...ewwwwwwwww.

My guys go fishing and crabbing back there.
