I've not had a chance to catch up, but I wanted tinknutt to check out the new keyboard. Such soft keys it's like typing in butter.....soft buttah!

Okay, I didn't quite get butter on the key board......Did like the wireless though, We can share

Gimme that keyboard! How can you NOT feel buttah? It's smooth, warm and slightly greasy from snacking when I dis?

I still don't get it Of course Ann is a much better typer and much faster!!

Cruisin - the Cruise sounds GREAT. San Diego is so beautiful. I lived there on two separate occasions when DH was stationed there. We were lucky enough to live on Coronado...I highly recommend visiting there....a beautiful town.

Ann ~~ do you have any special recommendations on things to see or do while we are in San Diego.

We would do something that was only a few hours, so that we could still have our meals onboard the ship.

So we could eat breakfast, go out for the morning, return for lunch, then go out for the afternoon, maybe

If you have any tips or ideas, you could PM me if you want to.

Thanks TN. Not sure if Uncle is having surgery Fri or not yet. It's not a tumor, it's not an ulcer, but they still don't know why his blood count is so low. So, for now, just my DSIL having her gall bladder removed on Fri.

Well today I dodged work

So did I, sorta. I was a walking zombie this morning. I went in for 1-1/2 hours and then came home and kinda slept for 2 hours. Not always a good idea, because I sorta felt worse/had other issues after my nap. I feel better tonight tho, but I was wiped out all day.

Kim - I suggest keeping Kelley as busy as possible....take her bowling, take her to the movies. Do stuff with her that YOU want to do. You are in my prayers....

Robin - if you're going to do something that is only a few hours, I recommend the trolly tours (Old Town Trolly Tours). They drive you through some of the cool places to see in San Diego....including Coronado.

Morning. We are back into the cooler weather after having such a record breaking high streak there for the past week or so.

Kim ~~ tell Kelly that each and every one of the TKers want to have a letter from her, with a nice picture that she has drawn for each of us

Give her paper, markers, stickers etc and let her go to town. I'm sure that we would all be glad to receive a letter from Kelly, if it meant that it gave you an hour or so of peace and quiet.

Today Liz has gone on her first clinical placement in her nursing program. She left already, so I didn't see her all dressed up in her nurses "garb". I'm so pleased at the change in her from Highschool to College. In highschool I had to practically pry her out of bed every morning and she never did any work, the exact opposite is true now. She gets herself up and ready and almost always gets to school on time (which starts the same time of day as highschool did ) She is always working on her homework too.

Alex's girlfriend is home for the weekend from university. It is Thanksgiving weekend here. It is the first time she has been home since Labour day.

Tonight is Liz's graduation from highschool. Kind of weird I know but this school traditionally does their graduation in the fall

Well its still warm here this morning ...BUT its suppose to be getting much colder today with ALOT of rain ..You couldnt tell by the weather out right now though....
I woke up to the reddest sky I have ever seen...ran to get my camera and the batteries were out(just AAs) ...Got the new batteries in and it was all gone Oh well....It WAS beautiful....just have to take my word for it!

The trees are really starting to turn around here now too.

Today it is chilly and windy but I personally have not felt the need to put on a jacket yet.

My grocery store closed down last week and they have built a brand new "super-duper" store in its place. Today I went there for the first time. I wasn't too impressed. It's way too big and it will take a while to get used to finding things in it.

Stuff doesn't seem to be logically placed either They have the pasta in the aisle with the household cleaners

Betsy, beautiful pictures. DH and I are hoping to see the change in colors on our trip we are taking next week on the motorcycle. Althought we may be to early because we are only going as far north as Tenn.

Not much going on here today went with DH to get eyes checked and dilated. So he needs me to drive him around . Weather has been yucky for the last week Tired of dreary rain....

Bought a couple of jeans, a touch snug .....but hopefully not for long!! Probably better not wash and dry till I lose a few more pounds

Checkin' in! DalPal - the pics ARE beautiful. I do love fall - but I'm willing to give up the colours (not the "u" in colors, eh? <noted!) for warmer weather.

Robin - I LOVE grocery shopping! The bigger the store is, the happier I am....but you DO lose something with the super stores. My favorite store is this little gourmet store - but it's about 20 miles away, so I don't get to it too often.

Tinknutt - I just left you a voice mail....I'm trying out a new karaoke CD in a few minutes....wannna come over?

Kim - you got a LOT of good ideas for you and your DD! Hope you're having a sunny day!

Lauren and I are in WALT DISNEY World as I type... we'll we haven't been there yet but first thing tomorrow... weather is really humid with rain on & off all day... not sure if it's "Tammy" stuff or not. I haven't been watching the weather channel so i'm not sure.
