While waiting for My friend & his wife to get their acts together about going to WDW after Thanksgiving......There are no more 59.00 airfares Only 109.00 each way

THIS IS WHY I HATE WAITING FOR OTHER PEOPLE


Anyhowwwwwwww We can go on Dec 30 & return 1/6 for 59.00 each way...SHOULD I DO IT???????

James will only miss 3 days of school then.....what are the parks like the first week of the year??????

if it's anything like DL - the 31st - 2nd will still be crazy busy, but 3rd - 4th & 5th should be worthwhile itself as most people will be traveling back home

I'd write more but I unpacked a bunch of boxes from storage today and my hands are both blown up and itchy~

John and me are probably gonna do the beach AND farm fair tomorrow and then quite possibly the beach again on saturday

Brenda, we'll work on that NY meeting of ours, I have no idea how or when I'm gonna get there but I will get there...

My dad was in the Air Force and stationed there. Then he decided to retire there.

I loved it!

AWWWWW...how sweet is that .....my dad was in the A/F too....but we were stationed in England....i had a 'boy friend' too - his name was Christopher....but we were only 4 & 5

I hate that!!

I say go for it... 3 days of missed school isn't bad at all.

My boys are missing a whole week of school but it's worth it to me because after our trip Roger will be deploying (YET AGAIN) and we will miss all the holidays... including our anniversary.



But the point is.... you only live once... Go for it

DU, I say make you own plans and let everybody else worry about theirs.

If you get a cheaper price, then that's their problem for waiting too long.

The first week of January is a great time to go to the World.

We have been there lots of times around then.

Most of the holiday decorations are still up and the crowds tend to be light.

We have been on New Years Day before and had the parks pretty much to ourselves.

Collen, I hope your soak helped your hands.

I just left my sting alone and it went down within a couple of hours.

Now mud is something we have right now because we've had quite a few days of rain

Thanks Robin!!! Hoping that Ryan will have a chance to visit Japan at least once in his life....i really have no desire to go....well maybe it's just that there are so many other places higher on my priority 'to do' list......

Now i know not all of you are Bonds fans....but he's my boy AND it IS baseball history in the making......i sure the heck don't 'remember' Hank setting the record

I actually do very clearly remember Hank setting the record. I was in middle school and I remember all the talk of "will it be today"? and then it happened! I guess you must really be enjoying this baseball season! I'm a Mets fan, so I'm enjoying most of it too.

When are you going to NYC? YOu will absolutely love "Wicked". DD(15) and I saw that for her birthday last year. We are only 90 minutes from the city so I usually go to 2 or 3 plays a year. I think WIcked is in my top 2 Broadway plays that I've ever seen. It's a close race for 1st place between "Wicked" and "The FUll Monty". I laughed til I cried during "The Full Monty".

DO It!!!!! The 30th through 1st will be crowded, but the 2nd through 6th should be very light days. Pre kids, DH and I started a vacation on Jan 2 and the parks were empty.

OMG - it was 31 years ago today (july 20 1976 that Hank set that record)....how weird is that!!! anyway - don't know where i was....altho i really wasn't much into BB back then.....Bonds turns 43 next week - so hoping his HR's keep up and his 755th or 6th happens on his BD - Mon or Tues - i forget exactly which day it is....that would just be a very cool BD gift to yourself.....

We go to NYC (my best friend from high school who still lives in Iowa) on Sept 19th....will be there till early the 24th...so taking in as much of the city as possible....a NYY game (LOVE DJ & AROD) and then we had much discussion over which play & both thought Wicked would be awesome...so glad to hear you thought so too...it was between that & Jersey Boys....

Im not into BB anymore...I was when I was a kid, but with 2 older DBs and my DD, had to like guysports...at least on Sundays...because thats all that was on the TV...UNtill "The wonderful world of Disney" came on .....
