Good morning, all!

A bit late getting to the 'puter today, but I had another super day yesterday - four miles of WATP, followed by an abs workout. I started to work on my butt, but... well, I just got too tired. The GOOD NEWS is that today is another day to try it!!!

Wow! Rajah's exercise clippies have started quite a stir! They are sooooo cool. Now, I'm no official decision-maker type, but does most everyone feel okay starting with a slightly retroactive clippie? Meaning, no matter how long you've been exercising, as long as it's at least a week, we can all start with the one-week clippie? Personally, I like that idea.

Plus, it nearly took an act of heaven for me to figure out how to get the clippie on there (computer whiz? I think not...:o ) and I'd just as soon keep it now that I've got it on there:teeth:

Anyway, here's hoping a new clippie is just the thing to keep all of us WISHers up and moving! Tell me what you did yesterday, and thank you, thank you, thank you for being such an inspiration in my new way of life!!!

Daisy;)

We went to Six Flags yesterday and I walked around the park for 10 hours. I decided at 11:30 last night when we finally got home that I couldn't even imagine doing my WATP (too tired), and my walking in the park covered my exercise for yesterday (waaaaay more than 1 mile).

As soon as I exercise tonight, I'll be an official one weeker and I will claim my new clippie!

Me!! Me!!!!...WATP 1.5 miles (and already did it this morning also - that's 3 tiems this week!!)

I did! I went to the gym for the first time in about 2 months ... boy, am I out of shape! The first 2 minutes on the elliptical trainer felt like 30  but I did manage to finish ;)

I'm actually impressed with myself. :) I've reached the 1 week point, and not only have I reached my goal of exercising at least 2 hours during the week, I put in at least 20 minutes every day (except 1, when I only did 8, but I still did something!)!

Last night I was tired and did not want to exercise. But after dinner, when DH and I sat down to watch a movie, I just couldn't sit still so ended up getting my 20-minute yoga routine in plus 1 move of Tai Chi repeated 3 times on each side. :) (And this done in front of DH, which was another big step ;) ) For someone who in the past has never made it to one week of exercise solid (not counting a week's vacation at WDW or similar, of course -- that's fun, I don't need motivation for that :D ) this is a *huge* accomplishment for me. :)

Since today is my 1-week point, I've changed my WISH member image to my 1 week clippie.

Now to see if I can make two! :bounce:

(And yes, I am planning on making a Mickey version for the male WISHers, just haven't had a chance yet :) )

I DID!!! The most I've ever done in 1 day .....

I walked 1.31 miles at lunch, then 1.30 after I got home from work, then did the 2 mile WATP tape......

WOW! Don't know if I can do that again

Way to go, fellow exercisers!!!! I can't say enough how much I love this thread. It's so uplifting to read how everyone is motivated to start exercising or to continue exercising or to try something new! Woo-hoo!!!

Pretty routine for me yesterday, rollerblading, power walking (cut short by a sudden thunderstorm, yikes!) and worked my bis/back with my hand weights.

Bet you can't guess what I did yesterday - you got it 2mile WATP. I was tempted to just put in the 1 mile tape but I made myself do the two miles. I really want to try out the 3 mile tape. I had told myslef I would wait til next week to try it but I'm so tempted to pop it in tonight. Is the pace any faster or just longer?

Me!!

My kids have swimming lessons for the next 2 weeks at our Rec so it works out great - I work out while they're having their lessons. Their lessons are an hour too so I'm actually working out for a little longer than I normally would.

So anyway, I did 20 minutes on the elliptical and abs and lower back on the Nautillus machines.

I did the 2 mile WATP...just like honeymo78, I've been thinking about trying the 3 mile (I have the WATP for Abs) and am curious about it's content!

I've exercised every day since Sunday! Yippee!!! Thanks for keeping me motivated with this thread!

I did, I did!!!

I played outdoor soccer last night for the first time years. I used to play indoor but the team folded about 3 months ago so I haven't exercised at all in 3 months. Last night I played the entire game (90 minutes) with only 2 short breaks. I'm so proud of myself and I'm very very sore! Oh well, it's worth it. I completely forgot how much I LOVE playing outdoor soccer.

I'm planning on getting on my very dusty elliptical tonight to keep the streak going.

ME TOO!!! I did my Zumba Advanced DVD--wow!!! Very fast-paced!! I like the beginner better, but I have to give this a fair shake before it gets discarded as one of those--"Yea-right-I-can-do-that" videos!!
Boy! It looks like WATP is very popular!!! Great job everyone!!!

The Firm Upper Body followed by a 10 mile bike ride to work, and a 10 mile bike ride home! Whew! Gotta love Summer!

ME!!! And I have some updating to do on my posting since I haven't made it on line for a couple of days.

Sun - Walked about a mile. Made a lot of trips up & down my basement stairs doing housework. Was a fairly easy workout daysince it was supposed to be a day off.

Mon - Swam 1 MILE!!! :bounce: :bounce:
That has been one of my goals since I started to go to the pool on 7/4. :teeth: I was even keeping pace with one of the female lifeguards who was also doing some lap swimming! I felt great when I finished, even had the energy to go to WalMart with DH later in the evening!

Tues 7/29 Swam for 30 min. No serious lap swimming, but I did swim non stop for that 30 min. Followed that up with 2 hrs of bowling (4 games) with DH.

Yesterday was the 2-mile WATP workout for me! I am so happy with the regimen that I am sticking with and grateful to Kamy for sharing her 13 week plan!! :)

I did my Power90 sculpt 3-4 tape and the Power 90 Abs 200. Then I went to the mall to do some power shopping!
