Good morning, everyone!

In keeping with my (newfound) tradition, I did the 4-mile WATP yesterday - man, that is just so fun! Love it!!!

Tried some modified pushups yesterday, too. Um, let's just say my arms could use a bit more work... But I CAN DO IT!

AND SO CAN YOU! And of course, you already did if you're posting here today - great job! One of the toughest things for me has been getting all the excuses out of the way (My "favorite" excuse was the time I decided not to exercise on a weekend because I had to work on Monday and didn't want to be too tired:rolleyes: Soooooo laaaaaame...)

Anyway, thank you to all of you who set aside excuses and got active. Your dedication keeps me thinking that I CAN DO IT!!!

So, tell me what you did, and keep telling yourself YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Daisy;)

I did my usual 50 min on the treadmill yesterday. I'm taking today off, but will probably do the treadmill tomorrow as I'll be missing two days next week. DH said if you do tomorrow and then Mon-Wed and then next Sat I won't have 7 days in a row. He has a great mind:D .

Thanks for this thread, it is great to hear about everyone's accomplishments from the prior day. It is also good for us to be able to post what we did because it does take the effort to get up and get moving and we should be patting ourselves on the back saying "good job".

Have a great weekend and everybody keep moving.

ok I want to play!! Well I will admit I had been sooo good with the excercise!! I had excercised EVERYDAY from April1 until the beginning of July!!!! I had some kind of melt down. Probably burn out and didn't want to do anything!!!!! Well I am back!!! I walked a mile yesterday and the day befroe (24 and 25) So I have readjusted my thinking to be do x amount of excercise everyweek instead of doing x amount everyday!!!!

I made it to class again last night. :) Had a good time, too. :)

I walked at least 2 miles on the boardwalk yesterday going from one casino to the other and then back again.

Woo-hoo, Daisy! Way to go with the 4 mile WATP tape AND modified push ups!!! Your arms will build up strength, don't worry! Just space your push up days out to give your arms a good rest, ok?

Yesterday I worked my back and biceps and did crunches (yeehaw!) I also went rollerblading. BUT instead of my regular rollerblading routine, I did about 2 miles in our neighborhood and then 2.5 miles to my parents house (and then 2.5 miles home from there after a 15 minute visit). WOW! I have never been outside our neighborhood on rollerblades. It was quite an experience. I was very nervous at first (there were a few small hills that had me going a little too fast with no where safe to stop!) but I made it there and back in one piece. I will probably go it again in the future, but not as part of my routine. Just isn't the same workout. I prefer my flat surface to that hilly route, and I know that this one street I skate back and forth on is 1.2 miles per lap, so I have a much better idea of the distance I can cover.

Sorry to ramble on, just thinking out loud. Anyway, yes, I exercised!!! :) Woo-hoo!!!

And congratulations and pats on the back for all the other exercisers out there! :)

I had to work at my day job yesterday (9-4:30) and then I had to go to my DH's country club and wait tables because he was short on people, so I was on my feet running around from 5:15 until 11:00. I sat and chatted a few minutes and came home at about 11:40 with plans to meet up with another employee at midnight to walk (night before we did 1 1/2 hours). Well, she called at 12:00 and said it would be another 20 to 30 minutes before band was done. I decided to give it a pass.

So at midnight I did the 1 mile WATP tape. This is my first week to dedicated exercise so that is enough.

At least I did it! It was after midnight, but I am still counting it for Friday because I was still up!

This morning since kids are gone I did it again at 11:00 a.m. Now I don't have to do it at midnight tonight! I'll be sure to post this tomorrow.

ME ME ME

One full week of exercise for me!!! I did Pilates but couldn't do weights because of a sore elbow.

Hope to do a 2-mile WATP after dinner!
