Good morning everyone!

Well, I finally broke my streak yesterday and did nothing that could officially be called exercise - although I did spend the day "running around"

Hope everyone else had a more organized and successful day than I did - sometimes I just have to remember I can't actually do EVERYTHING...

It's so cool to "see" new folks posting here - like Rajah, who has just started yoga!!! I totally understand the whole "exercise anxiety" thing, Tammi - GOOD FOR YOU for getting past it!

Everyone here is such an inspiration to me - the WISHers who get active every day like clockwork, and the ones who are just getting started on a lifelong journey of healthy activity. You all make me want to be a better person!!!

So who exercised yesterday? Shout it out, and FEEL GOOD about yourself - you're amazing!!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Daisy;)

I DID AND I FEEL GREAT!

I did 12 guy push ups yesterday! Made it through the first 7 ok, then it dawned on me that when I started trying this I COULD HARDLY DO ONE! So I was really pumped to get to 12, it wasn't a piece of cake, but I didn't die either! ;) Also did the bent knee push ups, and used my weights to work shoulders and tris. Then went power walking with Jen and Ross last night (no rollerblading as spent the morning at the Dr. office with Ross for heart tests, results next week!) ;)

I DID!!

I went and did my 1/2 hr at Curves.

I am shoutin!!!!!!! Yesturday was a great day.

I WALKED 2.5 MILES!!!!

There, was that SHOUTED enough???!!!:p

Daisy--Don't discount running around, I think that counts for something!
Wow! TigH--you must be getting sculpted!!
MiShoe-My SIL does curves and she is looking really good-it must be a great workout--good job!!
Have a super day everyone!!

I biked 5 miles yesterday with the kids and did one of the WATP DVD's....not sure how far I went, I'm a little confused on the set up of it! :) She did mention 1.5 miles at one point.

Can anyone hear me - I'm SHOUTIN' THIS REALLY LOUD!! I EXERCISED YESTERDAY!!! 32.5minutes onthe bike ( and those last 30 seconds killed!:p AND I"M GOIN' BACK TODAY!! Apparently, the really buff guy at the gym is gonna show me how NOT to hurt myself on the weights...which will probably be slippery from all the drool...

What's the Marathon in 2005? Because, TODAY!, I'm feeling very motivated!!

Live well, laugh much, love lots!!

I did my usual 50 min on the treadmill yesterday. I don't think I can count anything else yesterday as exercise unless you count walking to the side of the pool and getting in to cool off and then getting out to sit back down and watch the kids:D .

I hope you all have a wonderful day!
Tammy

I walked for 1 1/2 hours last night.

I got Kamy's 13 week exercise program yesterday and adapted it for 15 weeks for me (date of cruise).

So I am determined to kick-start this plateau.

Pilates and heavy duty housework!!
That is 6 days in a row for me, I think this is a record!!! Woohoo!!

Thanks Daisy. :) There's *no* way I could have gotten past that initial hump to try it if it hadn't been for the support of this board, and I know the only way I'm going to keep at it for more than a week or two is will y'all's support. :) I think we need some "x weeks of exercise" or "x months of exercise" clippies like the weight-loss clippies, what do y'all think? :teeth:

I actually did some exercise yesterday, too, even though I couldn't make it to the Yoga session. First was some fast shopping (involved fast walking) to find a tape, mat, and workout outfits, and that wasn't enough so I did find a yoga book at the library last night (so proud of myself -- I got up *off* the couch and left home after having gotten home and went *back* out to the library -- no big deal to most people, but to me, I really don't like going back out once I've gotten home. So to leave the house after an hour's rest and to go get *exercise* stuff is a big deal to me. :) ) Then I used the book as a guide and did a 20-minute-turned-40-minute session. :) See my journal for more info. :)

I walked between 2.5 & 2.75 mi W/ DH last night. I'm not sure exactly how far because I didn't have my pedometer, that's why the approx. distance. There were a lot more hills in the path we took last night than our usual walk too!

I did..I played softball last night, and boy did I work my tail off....I missed every ball hit to me...so I was forever chasing that darn thing...LOL.

Not sure if I burned too many calories..but I sure did take a beating from my teammates...(isn't that right KeyKey???)...lol
