Hi all,

Yay!!! Another healthy and happy day for me - I feel like celebrating!!! Did the 4-mile WATP yesterday, and I feel like a million bucks. Wow!

I love reading about some of the "alternative" exercises that WISHers are doing... GarrettJD unloaded a some very heavy-sounding books, vfb2girls spent the day chasing a very active grandson around the zoo, CarolA mowed the side of a mountain (whoa!), and perfectmatch300 did some heavy-duty housecleaning. Do these count as exercise? ABSOLUTELY!!! Good for you!

I know I've said it before, but it's just so amazing to me to see the committment to health made by the folks on this board. Whether pushing that extra 2/10's of a mile on the treadmill or passing off the snide comments of a certain SIL (envious, perhaps?), this is a group that inspires me every day. Thank you all so much!

So, what did everyone do yesterday? Celebrate your good choices here!!!

Daisy;)

I swam and did the Bowflex for my stomach, arms and legs. Not too bad for a muggy day here on the Cape!

I rode the exercies bike for 20 minutes. I need to work up to 30 minutes, though!

I ran for 30 minutes at 3.5 miles an hour...while watching The View! ;) That's as close to multi-tasking as I get...:D

DH and I walked 2 mile circle thru neighborhood last night. I really didn't want to go, but thought I better get some exercise in!!!
Great job everyone!!! Have a great day!!!:smooth:

Another great feeling yesturday as DW and I participated together at the gym and got our 30 mins on the treadmill. Watch out we are adding incline and speed this week.....

I did my first WATP tape 1 mile and 15mins of Simmons Broadway tape. I also worked my arms.

I lifted weights (biceps and back) and went power walking with Jen. Then we mowed her lawn together (about 25 minutes). :)

I got my 50 min. logged on the treadmill yesterday and it really felt good. I know that I need to give my body the break that I'm giving it on the week and I need it as well so that I don't get burned out, but I feel so much better when I have walked.

Have a great day everyone!
Tammy

I walked for an hour on my treadmill while watching Oparh. I didn't go too fast --I don't want to shock the treadmill--just the fact that someone is on it was enough for one day. However, I did feel good when I was done.....twk

I had a bummer day for exercising! My DH was off work and we took advantage of that and slept in :) No, really, sleeping. Anyhow, I usually workout early in the a.m. and rolling out of bed around 8 a.m. slowed me down! For sure! I was sooooo tired after my road trip to meet my WISH friends! So, I hoisted myself onto my bike and headed out for a 1/2 bike ride, in which it was sprinkling on me. Within 10 mins it was raining and a couple mins later when the lightning started, well I just went home! I did 40 mins sculpting yoga when I got back, but just felt bummed that I didn't get to finish my ride. I had a jammed packed day and with the off and on rain all day I didn't get to finish it at all! shoot! darn!

:( Wanted to go to Curves yesterday morning, but ds had been sick overnight and best not to leave dh with a vomitting child! We had an appointment with a man about a sun room at 3:30 and dh ASSURED me he'd be gone before 7pm and I could do Curves in the evening.
He left at 7:15! Would have been gone sooner, but 3/4 of the way through he figured out how to re-figure it and saved us thousands of dollars! :) So I guess it was worth the missed workout.
Better luck today!

Did the 2-mile WATP tape with my DH and we took the puppy for a walk.

Hoping to do some Pilates today too!

I did my Power 90 cardio tape3-4 and the Power 90 Ab blaster tape. I am slowly seeing some improvements in my waist and thighs! I even tackled a few straight leg push ups! For everyone else who work out great job!

Elliptical is very sickly...debating on calling in doctor to fix. The tension is gone in it (wish the tension was gone in me instead). So I did 45 minutes with no tension, went almost 5 miles though. Was able to maintain 7 mph for 30 minutes straight. Can't wait for the weather to cool down and I can go jog. I also did 45 minutes of weights...overall body.

I had my hair cut today..it looks awesome with my slimmer face! Now I don't want to sweat and ruin it but need to work out..oh what to do.

25 minute R.S. tape, Curves workout and Tae Bo Instructional video --- 1st day of my new 6 week schedule for exercise. Everyday I have at least one video--and I am actually starting that Tae Bo again! Plus Curves at least 4 days per week, as long as schedules allow.

So, I better be posting EVERYDAY to these threads, or else no rewards for me!
