Who else would prefer the 4/3 deal???

Can someone tell me what the 4/3 deal was. I'm assuming that it was pay for 4 nights, get three free but am not sure and we all know what happens when one "assumes" things.

If you booked for say 10 or 11 nights, how would that have worked.

I realize this is a moot point since it is not available but was just wondering.

I would love to see this promo again. We were able to stay at the Poly with this deal. My husband said to book it because he knows I have always wanted to stay there!

We would love to see the 4/3 deal again. We were able to stay at the Poly the week that ended in Presidents day. The rack for the last night was going to be over $500 without the deal!

I would book again in a heartbeat if they brought it back.

We also stayed at the Poly in 2009 under the pay for 4 days get 3 days free deal. Seeing that deal advertised on TV is what brought us back to WDW after 24 years! This time it was taking our two oldest grandchildren to WDW for their first trip. At the time we booked, the gift card was not included but I did get a $100 Disney gift card as my choice of birthday perk because I registered my birthday, which occured during our trip, before we traveled. (They also had a birthday promotion going on in 2009.)

Under the 4/3 promotion you paid for 4 nights of accomodations and then got another 3 nights free. You also paid for a 4 day ticket and got the next 3 days free. If you bought a dining plan you paid for the full number of days of your stay (7).

Our two subsequent trips were done on a Bounceback (40% off) and a monster pin (also 40% off) room rate only in both cases. Since we prefer the deluxe resorts this is a greater savings than the free dining. You can not combine offers.

I'm hoping that we can snag one of these deals in 2012 or 2013 to take our grandson to WDW. He was left home with his parents when we took his older sisters down in 2009.

Unfortunately I don't think we'll see a promo like this again unless tourism goes waaaay down.

The 4/3 deal was good...wasn't it during the spring the last couple years though? Then it skipped this year....it would be nice if they brought it back!

4/3 was the last time we were there too. It worked great as a promo, seemed to fill up all available rooms- I say that because I was booking for a group and we were concerned about getting rooms together during the promo. But unless tourism falls off I don't see WDW doing it again.

I would love to see the 4/3 for October but seeing how the promo's offered seem to be becomeing less and less just like Disney reported they were going to do this year, it seems highly unlikely.
DH rec'd a pin # and we used it to book our October trip but it is only for 20%

This newest summer resort discount is limited to Deluxe resorts and villas and is only 30% with AKL and Poly only 25% , the FD pins only QS at value and mod resorts and DDP at deluxe , all indicating the reduction of promos for the later half of 2011

For us FD would save us more $$. 4/3 would save us $$ though and I'd welcome anything that saves us more $$. 4/3 would only save us like $5 more than free QS dining (staying mod) and upgrading to DDP. So anything is fine with me!

But I did like the 4/3 deal and what was nice about that was that it was equal playing field in that whether you stayed value or deluxe, you got the same discount. I hate it that now the discounts for the mods and values are not so great and that the best deals are for the most expensive rooms.

I would love to get the 4/3 with a gift card. In 2009 we got the 4/3 but our dates fell after the gift card add on. Would have been nice to have both!

I'd give about anything for a 4/3 deal again. We got the 4/3 plus a gift card deal in March 2009, that's how we got to even go to disney and spend our honeymoon at AKL. I am DYING to go back to disney late this year or early next year but just can't make the funds work right now. FD would be nice, but wouldn't help nearly as much as 4/3. I'd book in a heartbeat if they had that again.

They got around this the last time 4/3 was offered. Value resorts had 5/2.

We can only stay 5 nights, so FD or room discount works best for us! We are currently booked at AKL in August with the FD pin that came in the mail (addressed to my teenage daughter).

Wow, that stinks! When we had the 4/3 we stayed at Music so I guess that was before the change. Disney always finds a way to take away some of the savings somehow!

Yep ... we're a family of 4 adults and the 4/3 saved us more money (at the Poly) than Free Dining does now.
