Stand up and be counted!

Mike and I will be there along with his sister and BIL. Mike and I are doing HHN on Halloween night, while his sister and BIL do Emeril's though.

Who else?! :p

If you are staying on site I would highly suggest a nice nap before HHN or a very "light" day at the parks (shows, etc.) We did both last year and were absolutely exhausted. I swore I'd never do both again! We were there from 9am on and were with people that has never been so we did absolutely everything.

Maybe I'm just getting old ;) I'm no longer a 20-something this year.

we arent on site(staying on i-drive at the crowne plaza) however dont worry i've done the whole FL holiday several times before and intend to pace things. Plus a trick from a cabbie i learnt years ago will mean we're minimally jet lagged.

basically we'll get up mid morning (between 8 and 10. whenever we wake up) grab a light brekfast at perkins or something. hit the park between 10 and 12 ish then wander around and do a few rides. maybe around 4 ish we're gonna go to finnegans and eat a big meal so we wont be hungry during HHN. then filter into the stay n scream area ready for HHN.

ideally we should go to IoA as it seems the IoA stay n scream people have a slight advantage as they get to diso and wax house before us but i have the express passes so i'm thinking we'll maybe skip wax house till later in the evening(as IoA people get there before us) and line up ready for ghost town to open right after and be one of the first through.

what do you think guys?

**EDIT** oh and incase you're wondering what the trick is to avoid jetlag. first time out in FL back in '98 the cabbie taking us to our hotel told us to stay up to midnight. no matter what. because it will force your body to get really tired. sleep at the correct time for a decent length of time and thus adjust you to the local time zone very fast.

it really works. we tried it that night and lo n behold we adjusted right away. i do it every holiday now and never have a problem

I'm there for the Stay and Scream and first Bill and Ted Show...I'm trying to stay a bit later than that, since it's the final night, but doubt it'll happen. :( Still, I'll be there for at least a bit! :)

rhys, we live in Scotland and that really does work. Never learned that trick from anyone, just assumed it would work, though! It's a long day travelling to Florida. 9 hours on a plane! Ugh!

Usually when we get there it's about tea-time (EST) and staying up till about 11:30pm works fine. Next day - hit the parks with no problems at all!! The bad one is coming home. I'm always jet-lagged for about 2 days!!

Anyway, we'll be at HHN on October 31st! We got the frequent Fear pass so may well go to HHN before then. Do you guys think Halloween will be really busy at HHN? Also, I know it's a Sunday - but would it be classed as a peak night with the fact it's probably gonna be a really busy night? (Just thinking for riding DD in the dark!)

Not long to go now!!! Yay!!!!! :hyper: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I went last Holloween and crowds were ok. This year it's on a Sunday. I think crowds will be light with work the next day.
