We got ours yesterday, and I popped it in to watch this morning. While the hosts were not that irritating, I thought the whole DVD was just not that well planned. It did not hold the interest of my kids at all. The scene changes were too quick, so it couldn't grab your attention to anything, and as a result, you never got a chance to really "experience" anything and get excited about it. I thought they should have shown more characters in it, and everytime they did, the character popped on and off the screen in a second or two. By the time I excitedly told my girls, "Look! There's Mickey!" and they turned towards the TV, he was gone. And it was not well organized. It jumped from place to place and got one confused (especially for those of us who have not been in a long time!). OK, and maybe the hosts were a bit annoying -- I could have done with less talking and more scenery of WDW.
Have all planning DVDs been like this in style???

The hosts were so annoying! They didnt really even focus that much on the rides and like you said with the characters they really were not on that much. So I will have to say I do like the the video from before much better.
I liked the last one that came in the purple type folder thingy. It was magical to me for some reason, more focused on the magic of it. I liked how yhey talked to real people.

My daughter and I love the dvd planner...I think we've watched it 10 times or so. She likes Dave the bench tester...
